Hymee's Grill Kit - Batch #2

All,

After a very sucessful rollout of the first batch of protective grill kits, I am proud to announce to you the limited availability of the kits again.

I must thank the early adopters, namely
  • Lock & Load
  • tonym
  • my10ae (USA)
  • Texagi95 (USA)
  • pepe
  • Timbo
  • msydd
  • D.G.W
who showed faith in what I could produce. Hopefully now I have shown that I can supply a high quality product that is of obvious benefit to all RX-8 owners. Please feel free to contact these members, or read of their experiences in the following related threads:

https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...threadid=14594
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...threadid=13996
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...threadid=14249
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...threadid=13442

The purpose of the kit is to provide protection for the A/C Condensor and the Oil Cooler via 2 stainless steel woven mesh grills.

The price of the kits is now set at $190 (AUD) including shipping and handling within Australia via registered mail. I have spoken to at least one dealer (who plans on getting a load of these kits) and believes they should sell for about $300 as an accesssory. So forum members - you can get yourself a bargain!

Kits will also be available for overseas purchasers. The US price is $120 USD for a single oil cooler model, and $150 USD for the twin model, plus shipping. Shipping to the USA is an additional $45USD, via the Australia Post priority, web-trackable service. Shipping to other countries is possible, but I have not worked out how much yet, and will be priced on a case by case basis.

I have trolled though the threads and emails I have receieved, and I will send an email to those that have already indicated their desire to purchase. Just follow the instructions in the email. If you don't receive something from me by noon Tuesday (25th Nov), then follow the instructions below.

If you have not already contacted me previously, or I missed you off my list, here are the instructions to place an order:

Send an email to my lovely assistant:

alyson.pickering@wbs.net.auNO!SPAM
(take the NO!SPAM bit off the end, call me paranoid )

Make the Subject "Request for Order Details - Hymee's Grill Kit", and include your forum member name, your real name and desired shipping address. Also state 1 or 2 oil cooler grills. Note - it is not possible to fit 2 oil cooler grills unless you have 2 oil coolers - dont worry about an "unbalanced look" you can hardly notice them.

Alyson will reply to your email with details of how to deposit the amount (Australian members/bank accounts only) or PayPal details (for international or Australian orders in US dollars).

The kits include:
  • Grade 304 stainless steel mesh grill for A/C condensor / radiator, powder coated black
  • Grade 304 Stainless steel mesh grill for Oil Cooler, powder coated black
  • Stainless steel fittings - screw/bolts/washers etc.
  • Installation Instructions on CD - MSWord document with high quality, full colour photos.

And, the same as last time... This is a private transaction between forum members and myself, and I do not operate this as a business. The aim is to provide a service to members, not advertising/selling a comercially available product.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Hymee

Since you have had so much success with your grills , i was wondering if you could make up the following for the rx8,s

1: Laser guided missile launchers (helps in heavy traffic situations )

2:Taser electric doors and panels to detter would be rx8 thieves ,from getting near rx8 (shocking though)

3:invisibility cloak so we can travel unnoticed (high speed manouvering)

4:Low cost and efficient free fuel to drive rx8 ( air or h2o)

5:Portable toilet so we dont have to stop on long trips (smell free)

6:Magnetic , magical fumes from exhaust that makes 19 year olds want to , be with rx8 drives in nights of passionate love.

HOPE THIS IS NOT ASKING FOR TO MUCH ???

Michael

Now here's a though ... maybe a bit of aromatherapy will work...

First one to have the guts to blend their mineral 10w30 with some of the old cinamon and apple essential oils gets the be the first "hip rotary incense mobile driver".

May be the last sentence should have ended with "man"

At least this way L&L will be able to play with his potions, refining the attraction to target specifc hair colour, etc...

It is Mr. Hymee to you, sir. You mental giant of the keyboard. Stop typing so fast - the keyboard will throw a burnout warning exception code if you keep it up! hehehe

I'm good at dishing it out as well, but now I have an image to uphold :p

G'rillers,

For those who want one from this batch, I need to really know firm numbers (payment) as I want to get materials tomorrow, so I can get started and not drag it on for those who have been generous enough to pay already.

Cheers,
Hymee.

BTW - L&L - are you still around? You have been quite quiet of late. Dez even opened a special place for shooting the breeze.

Hymee,

Sent payment a few minutes ago. Sorry, I didn't see your note about supplies any sooner.

I've just run the image through my newly developed optimistic fractal enhancement processor and have noticed "KEV" engraved on the bottom left hand corner ... must be mine

How could you tell??

I first processed the image with my "Obfuscating Fractal Unknown Customer Kit". That's right - the O F.U.C.K.

Hehehe

Cheers,
Hymee.

Here are pictures of the latest batch.

Fresh from the powder coaters:

Note the custom shipping box in the foreground, and the dead 'roach on the carpet. At least I know the pest control is working. That shipping box was left over from last time.

Cheers,
Hymee.
