Angry I can't believe it!

After years of driving a crappy car, I finally get the car of my dreams (rx8) and what happens...................someone rams into me.

Can anyone recommend a top notch panel beater in Sydnety (Inner West)?

I can't believe it!

Sorry to hear the bad news...........................

A good friend of mine owns Cowper Smash Repairs at Granville. He's totally **** about his business and the quality of the work that leaves his shop and does a superb job. He's done some work in the past on my wife's CLK and it was excellent.

PM me if your interested and I'll introduce you to him.

Hope this helps ease the pain.

Paul.

there are quite a few good shops around. In the inner city there is an exellent shop on Parra road near by to Rick Damelians showroom. I recall they work on prestige cars so will be familar with aluminium .

Good luck

See your local mazda dealer to see who they go through for after market items like spoilers and fender strakes. Then you at least know they can get the colour match correct.

Thanks all for your sympathy and advice. It's pretty hard given I haven't had an accident for 15 years and as soon as I get a nice car, someone does something stupid. I have found 2 good panel beaters and am going through insurance process now.

I suppose I better educate the panel beater on the flooding issue given they will be starting and stopping the car constantly.

Geez,

thats gonna be painful, what can i say people are attracted to the 8, they can never get close enuff....ok thats not funny, but honestly was the damage bad, did the car take on the impact ok, or was it just a slow bump in peak hour traffic, I hope all goes well, and they fix the car up excellent for you.

Regards,

Daz

Thanks Daz1300. You could say it was a small bump but the damage bill was $2,500.

$2,500 is a small bump... make sure you think that way as it is the positive thinking that you need to convince yourself it looks the same as before. What colour is yours? Make sure it matches perfectly. It is kinna hard to match the red. If it is yellow, it is ok... you can spray the whole car to match it. (L&L)

hehe j/k ~ Taka

It's red. Should I be worried or should a reputable panel beater be able to colour match it okay.
