Lightened flywheel available in Aus?

Does anyone in Australia make a lightened flywheel for the RX-8?

I would like to get one, but I'm not too keen on paying all the extra money on shipping/duty/GST to import one from Japan or the US.

If no-one has made an RX-8 flywheel in Aus yet, what would be the suitability of an RX-7 or MX-5 lightened flywheel?

Wildcard, I'm up for a MS or a RB lightened flywheel, maybe we could arrange a group buy?

I also like the look of the RB flywheel. US$455 last time I checked. You wouldn't get much change out of A$800 though by the time customs were finished with you.

Q. Will a US free trade agreement make importing auto parts from the US cheaper?

I'd still like to find something locally.

Group buy from overseas will arract tax and duties. Do it in the new year and it will be a bit less.

Anything below $1000 you can potentially get away with. esp you get the sender not to include the invoice. You can made one up that listed half of it actually worth j/k You never lie to customs, ok?

I will get flywheel and clutch together, unless you have a brand new car. I will never let an old clutch to touch my new flywheel EDIT: as an analogy ----- :o I will never let L&L "touch" my daughter... hey it is just an analogy hehe :D
