Little John, here's a new trick for you

Can't get shortcut to work.
Go to DIY forum and get axialflow shifter foam rubber trick, or something like that.
This looks promising, it may help some people.

Hey RP.. thanks for the head up..
I've tried that trick already but with limited success..
I have found that in gears 2,4,6 the shifter actually rests/(pushes?) firmly against something. Especially in 2 & 4. This seems to be the root of the problem, but i really don't find it a problem as what noise is left is hardly noticable.

Thanks anyway...
