Hang on L&L -- I would take that to be ... GOLD .. a very appropriate colour. Indeed, had there been a metallic gold on the RX-8 colour chart, that's what I would have chosen... but it does have to be the right tone -- not too bilious

ok i have to sort of but in here on the color technicality. Ok the reason yellow looks gold is because i basically tried to make it look as if the part was machined of aluminum and annodized to be yellow. Gold is typically what yellow looks like as annodized alum. at least from all the stuff i have seen.

The red rx8 could oxzidize and turn pinkish over time .
A long time ago a good friend of mine a hairdresser convinced a young lady to get her ***** dyed pink , well after 15 minutes of trimmimg , and shaping her ***** into a nice heart shape we dyed it pink , the rest well use your imagination .
The hairdresser is currently in the Australian Federal Police, ha ha ha in a fairly high rank i may add .
The word PINKISH brings back fond memories .

If you had read my friend in that (pink ***** ) incident is in the Federal police , they have no jurisdiction on state run speeding fines , even if they did i would not ask him to interveen in such a petty manner , i have contacts in both state and federal forces .
