xatnep, for that...did I mention that I finally have my strakes, crests and spoiler? unfortunately the spoiler is the OEM one that my wife bought for a BDay present without taking any of the million hints I had left her on the "Coffee Table" that I wanted :-(
Tim Tam, I really like those rims. What, where and how much?

The correct answer to the "what are the risks" question is "That's a good question, and thinking about it, it's quite complex. I'll prepare a risk assessment study"
This acknowledges and compliments the manager, and creates a further procrastination excuse for any other manager ("I have to prepare a risk assessment study for X, which is why I can't do anything for you") ![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The "diagnosis with cancer" excuse is plainly unethical. An expert always contains the context of the procrastination to the task or project itself. Besides, the expert procrastinator used the cancer diagnosis several times in primary school, and still remembers the pain following discovery![Eyetwitch](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/eyetwitch.gif)
Just doing it!!?? WTF! We would never have won the war on that basis, you know -- just rolling over. The whole idea is abhorrant.
Effective procrastination requires clear strategies and well-prepared tactics, marshalling of resources and planning for meetings. To truly achieve in procrastination, you must be resolute in your goal of never, ever doing it ![Nono](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/nono.gif)

I was looking at something similar before I settled on the Enkei's.
For some reason I think they look better on black cars.

Otherwise agree with 'Mez - you're obviously keeping it

BBS "RX" 18x8, 38mm offset, B/stone 040's in 235/40
I have to say it is just soooo nice to have quiet tyres again, and I will recant any early criticism I made of the 040's. The stiffer (hard, actually) sidewalls make it steer much more precisely.
Am not sure about lowering. The photo is deceiving (or perhaps even disconcerting
)They fill the guards pretty well and with a 38mm offset, they actually sit out a little wider than stock, so any drop might cause rubbing.
But I lurv the fact the rims have straight edges and, with the ridge on the 040's means the wheel is harder to scrape

In all seriousness, sometimes they're impossible to avoid but then, I'm pretty sure you know that. One day you'll reveal the truth about your prior working life.
