I'm betting you're the one wearing the boots.

Actually, I didn't put her on the scales but having met Julia (and fed her hot chocolate ), I can verify that she's a fit chick.

My new Mazda. 1984 Series 3. Deceased estate 140,000Km's. 100% original, orig exhaust, shocks etc. Needs a tune up, but goes great. The Falcon will be evicted and I'll have an all Mazda garage...

Nice work 'Mez.

Original examples are getting as rare as rocking horse poop.

And speaking as someone who recently ditched their Ford to be all Mazda - you won't regret it.

Nice car Gomez. Looks very original which is a rare find these days. Nice garage also.....our shed is a little less organised however the WD says he likes it that way! I think it;s a ploy to keep me out, I can't stand being in there for the mess!!

Priceless

Hey, had to take the big boss back to his hotel at the end of a meeting. He was really excited about getting to go for a drive in the 8, he's never been in one before. I'm tipping after today he will never get in mine again!

He asked me what I liked about the car, as we were pulling away from the lights I started answering his question and then thought better as words can't describe it really. So I changed down and turned into a corner that just so happens to be part of the old Grand Prix track. No traffic coming the other way we entered and exited a slip road left hand turn peaking at 70kph coming out of the corner. He grabbed the door handle and exclaimed HOLY CRAP you scared the ---- out of me! It was one of those moments you know will only make your career go further! He's only a little older than me but today I think I aged him another 10 years! Just before this encounter he had signed my leave form for Phillip Island, well I did warn him! Have another meeting with him tomorrow and I am picking that he won't want me to take him to the airport! I am such a bad employee! But hey it was fantastic for me, I knew the car could do it....he had doubts!

Heh heh heh, nice work Julia. But I hope you like your present position and salary - you might be stuck with them for a while.

I've done similar things to unsuspecting passengers. It's surprising how fast you can take the corners that lead from the Cahill Expressway onto the Harbour Bridge...

seems nice, but you know what its like when you spend $50K and have to wait 6 months for something tangible, the longer you wait, the more you think it was a bad decision

I guess you'll soon find out.

Mind you, we've been v happy with the 6. Handling is top notch and it's just so easy to drive.

I quizzed 'er indoors and it really came down to ease of cargo area. Not having to lift things over a boot lip (and worry about scratching it) and the ability to carry more awkward shapes and sizes like large boxes or a kid's bike.

She doesn't have the stereotypical wish to sit higher in traffic or anything like that and doesn't particularly prefer the styling of this kind of thing (although she thinks the CX7 is one of the better looking examples).

All that said, she loves how easy and zippy the 6 is to drive. This is no doubt why "car-like" SUV's are doing such great business.

Women apparently are the biggest influence on what the family car will be (whatever they and the salesmen would prefer us dumb blokes to think), so I guess if you make a convenient cargo area easy to drive and pretty it up a bit, it'll sell well.

LOL.

Talk to us again when you've popped out 2-3 kids and are driving them around the 'burbs.

Think you need a wealthy house husband, so you can drive your M3 solo and leave him to the kid taxi business.
