Just got home before the heavens opened.....car still clean and dry.....yes I still hate it when the car gets rained on..... call me precious if you like!! Or dare

Ah, yes, I agree with you.

My car got a wash on the way home ... maybe I should actually wash my car myself sometime in the next couple of weeks.

I go to a lovely car wash but..they never polish the exhaust tips.....I hate seeing them all dull.....my job for this weekend...add it onto the list which is as long as my arm.....

Melbourne today....cold and windy....couldn't even be bothered to go shopping even though I got an early minute from my meetings!! I must be coming down with something!

I get the opposite ... every time I go back to Adelaide I always get sick! Bizarre eh? Adaptation to different environments.

LOL ... and when my car gets a wash on the way home, it means it rained. I don't think I've washed it more than once a month since I got it! My last car I used to wash once a week ... or so.

No rain in the forseeable future so Max will get a wash tomorrow....

Also getting the hard to start tsb done tomorrow...called my dealer and asked them to do it as the car takes more time to start....turns over 3 or 4 times instead of brum straight away....

Parently they only replace the plugs with a different part number but same plug.....same heat range......part number lets them know which cars have had the tsb and which ones haven't....me no care.....just don't want issues...have to get up very early....0600 to get there in time to get loaner....Mazda 3..or maybe I could loan a CX7

I should get my sending unit replaced so I don't keep running out of petrol sometime in the near future too. I'll give them a call today, I'm starting to get a bit sick of buying petrol without knowing how much is left.

My Confession

Dear Father forgive for my sins. Today is the first day since owning my RX8 that I hit the rev limiter. I went past the beep and got engine retardation..... Was heaps of fun, god this car can travel in just first gear. Forgive me father as after I had experienced this phenomenon once I became addicted to the feeling and did it more and more. I was careful to not really break the speed limit and was mindful of cameras and other road users.

It appears as one of my Mazda bretheren has pointed out I have sookie la la'd my car and therefore have been mistreating it!!

Please forgive me of my sins and absolve my poor driver performance to date.

As pennance I promise to red line more and be mindful of oil consumption. I have planted 2 more trees to cancel out my carbon emissions!!

AMEN

Yes! I've had a gutful of work atm. Taking next week off, incl a little trip to Wakefield all going well.

I WAS the damn Easter Bunny, with the assistance of a bunnygirl in the shape of 'er indoors.

Mind you, I'm only dimly aware of little people living in the hosue atm. I'm sure that'll return full force next week though.
