Had some fun at Wakefield yesterday.

Len and Timbo were playing with the suspension settings on their Polo's and invited me down. Just an open, pay and play day, with a mixture of cars there.

Mine was the only RX8 but there was a 350Z (that never got past ), an S2K (that seemed to like going in circles ), a worked MX5, a supercharged Magna and a little Swift that definitely wasn't stock and had the wheels thrashed off it all day long.

A couple of Porkas (just old 944's) and sundry XR6T Falcons and V8 Commodores pretty much rounded out the street cars. Oh, there was a GT40 replica there too, which looked and sounded fantastic but didn't seem to do very quick lap times (around 15's, Len thought).

The VW crowd consisted of 3 GTI Polo's and a GTI Golf. Ahem, those who might be thinking Len and Timbo will be speed humps at Winton in October might be in for a little shock. Something about hot chips, and I'm not talking about lunch.

I had fun but wasn't trying to set the world on fire. Kept DSC on and didn't have any offroad excursions. Good to blow the cobwebs out after too much time on public roads.

Can't believe Capt Sensible Taka closed that globes thread.

Was just getting interesting.

Love hearing about people who are protective of an avatar they've had for years and in all that time haven't managed to crack 200 posts yet. Sheesh, pardon us for not noticing you pal.

Well, I can now lap WPR in the same time in the Pog as I could in the 8...so can Len...and we are both hoping Rod doesn't read this and decide to head to his nearest VW dealer

I also overtook both Porkas and the GT40 -- that's my story and I'll eat out on in for some time, too (even if I have to do so with my fingers in my ears )

Thanks for the pics Timbo. Love the first one.

Actually, I only got overtaken by one Polo, and it wasn't yours!

Nothing else got by me but then again the GT40, porka's and S/C Magna weren't in my group.

Does anyone watch sport live?

I'm about to go to my first live soccer game at Parramatta Stadium

I get paid to be there so I'm not fussed!

Nah, well, I do watch some things live, but not your bread 'n' butter sports. I find it boring. Well, apart from watching football matches in Adelaide when I was a kid, and the Grand Prix (which I haven't been to for 3 years now *gasp*).

I play on these sites recently: Cool stuff

www.ubdesigner.com - for userbar as seen in my sig. I think it is pretty neat.

my blog - http://myrx8.spaces.live.com and playing with the window gadgets. There are boxes you can download where you can embed YouTube, Photobucket slide show and even a HTML box. The alignment is **** for Firefox though. Perfect for IE.

Photobucket (www.photobucket.com) - there is a promo on... trail some website and you will get a free upgrade for a year worth $25. I chose to sign up for eBay and bid on a product - you don't have to win it! I bid on a rotary engine model haha.

The Flock webbrowser can integrate photobucket, meaning I can drag photos on forum or blog like a breeze.

Oh I revised my website too .... www.step-hen.com

is there cool things you are playing on your computer?
