Well, you made 35 posts yesterday. That's a fair load of crap typed.

Answer your question?

You actually counted my posts? You forum stalker!

It doesn't really answer my question. It does however make me feel rather violated, how creepy!!

Well, from one post ***** to another, I think Gomez has a point.

The Cromax saturation level has been a bit high. Might be because not many other people are posting these days but it's getting hard to read the car-type information through the SMS type dross.

And no, I'm not a wannabe off-topic mod and don't really care to be honest but since you asked, that's my answer.

lol, yeah I know Kall...but since he asked...

I think that's why it is really quiet. Not too much to report car-wise now. Hell, I'm getting bored with mine as it is. I need to win Lotto so I can buy a 911, lol.

I'm not really trying to catch up for the record ... I'm just studying very dry material and I'm rather bored and unstimulated by it, so I'm using the board to keep me from dying of boredom.

Besides, I've been a member on this forum since before you Dave, and yes I know the majority of my posts have been since about July last year, but my post count is rather low in comparison to some.

BTW ... you missed my point entirely.

Well, what was your point?

I'm not trying to point score off you and couldn't give a **** who joined when or how many posts we have. My gag in the other thread about 1K was just that - a gag.

Anyway, it's not about post count - more the frequency, as Gomez remarked.

There's always natural tension in here (as with any board that professes to be on a particular topic rather than just for general chit chat) between talking only about the car and just goofing around and God knows I've been guilty of the latter more often than not. However, be prepared for some criticism if you indulge too much in msn/sms type back and forth stuff - it can lead to the more serious types bailing out of a thread because they couldn't be bothered keeping up with a discussion that is peppered with off-topic stuff about lip balm, etc.

So, fair enough, you're bored and enjoying bouncing off some other people in here to keep you awake. Just don't expect everyone else to appreciate it, as I've discovered to my own cost in the past.

I'd rather not say, those who are supposed to work it out will or already have. I know you were joking about the 1k posts ... I'm not silly you know ... I'm just keeping awake, providing slightly facetious comments from time to time ... breaking the silence on the forum, which for some reason is very silent apart from a few people talking about their boltons.

Thanks for the headsup though, but I think the tension's down at a level that we can all manage without too much stress ... it has been for most of this year.

I won't pretend to understand what the hell you're on about...and I'm not silly either, lol.

I was just trying to answer your question from another post *****'s pov.

Actually, that's one of my troubles with the 8. The cup holders are right under my elbow and with my height and arm length the cups get in the way. But I can't think where else they can go. Perhaps they could be set lower. Or maybe I need to stop buying those jumbo grande mega buckets that make your heart red line til noon and then idle badly foir the rest of the day.

(By the way I spent the holiday with a clay bar and polish. That is until I sliced my finger open on the antirattle spring cleaning the wheels. Two stitches later...)

It happened to me the other day but I cleaned it up ... didn't take long, not too much of an inconvenience. I don't really mind about it though 'cos I don't use those cupholders much anyway ... I usually have too much other stuff in there!

I don't use the cup holders.

Actually, I tend not to drink on the move at all and don't drink coffee full stop.

Mine have my e-tag, dust cloth and garage remote in them, lol.

I use the rear cup holders for drinks.
