Magpies have white beaks with a black tip, as opposed to currawongs who look like magpies but have black beaks.

There you go.

Seems to be a bit hot in here at the moment. Lets see what happens when I check the forums in another months time.

I spoke to Mazda Australia during the week enquiring about the availability of Snowflake White on an RX-8. The website showed it, but the new brochures had Crystal White as the white option.

They confirmed Crystal White was the current colour and said they'd get the website changed. Well, they've changed the website.....but they've also dropped Phantom Blue!!

Red, Silver, Galaxy Grey, White, Winning Blue, Black and Stormy Blue are now the current colour options....for the next month anyway!

<Rev strokes chin speculatively.>

Hmm, I wonder what sort of trade-in deal I'd get for my sub-40K 4/04 L/P?

Whaddya reckon the differential spend would be to order a brand newie 'Mez?

I think it'd have to be white too, out of that colour choice because:

red - screams mid-life crisis over a certain age (until you're well and truly past it, lol).

silver - damn unlucky and you can't give them away, huh Skyline? <me ducks from Julia's backhander>

galaxy grey - after the wonder that is Ti grey, no chance!

winning blue - probably my next choice after white but I've gone off it a little.

black - too much trouble.

stormy blue - see black.

Ahh, it's fun to have a Friday arvo speculation, lol...I'll just have to avoid my dealer for a month or two.

If the other colours are stereotyped as you say Dave... how does white fit into the scheme of things...

Well, duh! White isn't a colour.

Any 10 year old can tell you that!

No, seriously, I think the white gives the shape a really fresh look and provides a great canvas for mods like rims, strakes, etc.

Um, Trev, I think you need to ask for cash bribes from now on instead of drugs. I'm getting worried about you...

It depends whether the moderator is having a bad day or not Gomez....for instance...

Two guys were picked up by the police for selling drugs and appeared in court before the judge. The judge said:

You seem like nice young men, and I'd like to give you a second chance rather than jail time. I want you to go out this weekend and try to show others the evils of drug use and persuade them to give up drugs forever. I'll see you back in court Monday."

Monday, the two guys were in court, and the judge said to the first one:

"How did you do over the weekend?"

"Well, your honour, I persuaded 10 people to give up drugs forever."

"10 people? That's wonderful. What did you tell them?"

"I used a diagram, your honour. I drew two circles like this: O o and told them this (the big circle) is your brain before drugs and this (small circle) is your brain after drugs."

"That's admirable," said the judge. "And you, how did you do?" (to the 2nd guy)

"Well, your honour, I persuaded 50 people to give up drugs forever."

"50 people! That's amazing! How did you manage to do that!"

"Well, I used the same two circles. I pointed to the small circle and told them, 'This is your ******* before prison...."

I'm approaching 40 years old.

What's wrong with red? All my cars have been red! And no, red cars do NOT go faster just because the paint fades quicker...

Happy to say my daughter is 1.5 years old and a healthy happy little darling. Life is good

Cheers!

Just a personal opinion. For me, red is for under 35 and over 50, lol.
