Great thanks Kall. Not going away has been very relaxing. Two weeks of surfing, swimming, socialising, eating, drinking and sleeping has been most enjoyable.
Back to it tomorrow though...
Hope you've had some fun over the festive season too.

I love driving!
OFF ROAD driving
Click for large pic....
I did that yesterday and it is a very good drive. Very easy to do and it comprises mainly well formed gravel road and dirt track. Some clay compound so even the travel book (4WD treks close to Melbourne) not advising traveling during wet days or has been raining. So after 6 days of dry Melbourne summer heat, without bush fire  , so we had a go for our first real off road drive.
There it is. We started off going to have a good preparation with picnic food, water, tyre pressure gauge with let off valve (well I just use the racing one that I have for track days), and oh... I forgot my tyre pressure pump. <_< . Oh I had plenty of DVD for the girls at the back.
.
Driving from the Yarra Junction you turn right and heading to Powelltown. The GPS will have those details.
It even have the Big Creek Road that we start off the route with. I dropped the tyre pressure from 39psi on highway to 32psi for gravel tracks. :spiteful: Rally stage is on :spiteful:

and you will see the Ada tree post
![](http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l230/taka_rx8/New%20Kluger/17d0b79d.jpg)
Well form dirt track with very tall tree, perfect for summer days.

The road is so easy that I have a bit of Jeremy Clarkson in me when I drive it... POWER!..
Found someone dropping their transmission on the side of the road... hang on the guide said it is a old logging Winch.

Go straight ahead
![](http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l230/taka_rx8/New%20Kluger/6be52ad4.jpg)
Not long we come to Starling Gap Picnic/Camping area. That is actually pretty small (I thought camping round is much larger
).

Driving from Starling Gap to Ada tree road via Big Creek road there are lots of climbing and on some low vegetation area you can see how high you are!

Sign post to Ada tree park
![](http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l230/taka_rx8/New%20Kluger/de5e4f2e.jpg)
After 2km from the Ada Tree car park we are here
![](http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l230/taka_rx8/New%20Kluger/85b5f153.jpg)
After that we go back to Starling Gap and going via Smyth Creek Road. It is on the GPS mostly.
GPS thoughts: It is a pretty good unit and even it is off road, the entry and exit part of it leading to tarmac is very clearly marked. The GPS is a bit weak between the high tree and only about 10m away but it is still quite good.
Useful coordinates. I converted it to mins and sec so you can key in to the SatNav in your Kluger.
Yarra Junction - 37m46'54"S 145m36'57"E
Powell Town - 37m 57'39"S 145m44'40"E
Ada Tree Reserve - 37m 49'1"S 145m52'5"E
I thought I should have marked the Starling Gap, but it is so simple to get to because of the simple sign posting!
Of Smyth road is a bit bumpy and slow down, get my Clarkson ego out <_< and do about 20-30kph will do.
The map is here. The orange part is our route.

Saw it on TV and I could not believe it.
Go Pup.
I told my wife that it only take 3 ***** about 1/2 hour to go... (btw she is itchy to get away and have dinner outside). So Pup also saved my life.

I dont think it really matters what age group does it Taka?
I know it seems to affect the older groups but I dont see why younger guys cant get checked too?
Same thing goes with breast checks with women. The younger women seem to think it doesnt matter as we dont fall into that risky group but a lot of young women still suffer :/

Yeah, I did the Movember thing in '06 and am happy to see it being researched, etc but I still wish they would come up with a better method of examination! Same goes for breast cancer - getting your ***** squashed in a vice is probably as much fun as the rubber gloved finger up the date routine.
Next topic please??!!

Well I have diagnosed a prostate cancer today mostly in the front of the gland, but the back of the gland is where is commonest and you can feel it in the rectum.
Kall. It is still an old man disease where it starts at around the 50s and nearly every man have it at 90s, but the oldies will have so slow growing tumour that the heart, lung or kidney naturally fails before tumour spread.
Nothing prevent benign gland enlargement (benign nodular hyperplasia). Drink less tea?
Talking about research, there were something the pathologist talked about that is new on diagnostic ... not quite the gene we find that cure it... it is so common tumour ... but you never know, just see the BRCA gene and Her-2 gene in breast tumour.

Don't mention "old man" and "around the 50's" in the same sentence....besides,I won't be in the 50's mid way through the year.....
Bloody young whippersnappers....

I read in some magazine (think I was in the doctors waiting room lol) that if a man drinks 4-5 alcoholic drinks per week that increases his chances of prostate problems.
Dave not only do women have to endeavour the pains of getting their boobie squished but also pap smears and internal ultra sounds, so fact man only has to deal with 1 kind of probing..u lucky bastards lol
