I got a photo here at the moment, with my wifes car closest to the camera, a car in the far lane just behind her (number plate obscured by wifes car) and my car following my wifes. My number plate is obscured by a tree. 4 cars in the one photo all together, wifes car was the one chosen.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Catback? Hmm. Let me think :D :o

Air intake. Personally, I wouldn't touch one unless I went forced induction.

BTW - I'm glad you were paying attention, that burble was for your benifit H, not mine. LOL!

Cheers,
Hymee.

This site seems to be dying a horrible death..

This message comes up lots and I am regularly informed that the connection has been refused..

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

Are any of you having the same experiences??

If the site is out for an extended period, where will we meet? I am concerned that the demise may happen just as we are about to finalise the Brisbane Cruise.. The family will be very disappointed if we miss the trip..

Actually, since:
1. I mentioned that the site looked like it was going to die; and
2. Taka got his post count back!

The site has been amazingly stable for me... I have not had any errors and I have been able to get on everytime I have linked to the site... It even seems to be faster..

Thanks for looking after the site.. I know that the sys admin job can be one of the more thankless jobs...

And where is Daz that started this thread???!?!?!

Did all the people above sold their carS?

The Dez [sp!?] who opened the lounge ( read as "started this thread" ) is, and has always been here for those who know me ;-)

No, we're not selling our cars, well not till we can get the turbo model delivered anyway, but like all things, the initial novelty wears off, life gets fuller, and we oft don't have the time to spend online that we once might have had, or wish we still had, more's the pity, alas.

Big hi to y'all out there - you know who you are, I've driven with a bunch of you over the past years!

Cheers,

Dez

The newie leans back and notices, for the first time, that some of the chairs have skeletons sitting on them... Magazines are scattered around the chairs and the empty beer keg is rolling across the floor..

So that's what happened to the old timers... The beer ran out and they starved to death...

The newbie raises his glass of Bundy, drinks a toast to the old ways and flings the empty glass into the fireplace..

Let's party....

"Ah... 1999", sighs the newie as he sinks into the comfortable chair with another Bundy... "What a year..", he screams at the top of his voice....

My recent reading

I have done a lot of reading on the 8 today ... since I have been to Kinokuniya and got a lot of magazine... I discovered 3 things: They are big
  1. Fujita Engineering *(FEED) has gone tubro (250hp atw) - They have added a T618Z and ran around the Fuji Speedway in 2'09.38. That is slower than a DC5!
  2. Tein is bring out their SuperRacing suspension for RX-8. It is going to be hardcore and damper and rebound adjustable. You are going to need 2 EDFC to do that.
  3. MazdaSpeed is developing a new caliper for SE3P

I will have more info later.
