m1 speed bodykit

hi there all im a new member on here and im just about to pull the trigger on my first RX8 its not going to be everyones cup of tea on here but here goes its a 2006 model has a built ls1 and auto needs a bit of a tidy up and some paint but should turn out nice. my question is in regards to the bodykit supplied with the sale. its a m1 speed bodykit which i know absolutely nothing about. the seller says its worth 3K but im not so sure. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome aboard. Judging by the old threads about that kit, it's junk (like most kits). However if it's already on the car and looks good enough for you, then great. You don't have to worry about making it fit properly.

It might have been 3k to get it, that doesn't mean it's actually worth that. That's not how car mods work.

Feel free to search for more details from the ancient threads about it.

body kit

thanks for the info mate. the kit is supplied with the car not fitted so i was just thinking of moving it on as i like the lines of the RX8 without any enhancements that was the main reason for my purchase in the first place.as its rated as junk i might be keeping it for a while haha!
