Just about finished putting the route together now, just have to find a good finishing point, which I hope We'll have sorted this week.

voncreep- Aw man those photos make me 100% more excited for this!

I'm sure you are going to enjoy the day, I hope you have someone coming with you to help you out with finding you way around the country side.

I'm certainly hoping for some more great photos at this coming event as well.

Xcon, I hope this is not an excuse for not coming along to MMRR. We don't mind what type of Rotary you bring along. The silver RX7 looks pretty good, just bring that along. Or you could just get a little tube of silicon and do a temporary fix on the dust boot, which would be fine for the event.
Hope this is helpful.

The hardest part about twitter I've found so far, was actually signing up, as you have to make a load of decisions on who you want to follow at the beginning. After that it seems pretty easy.
After I had signed up and found that I was being bombarded with tweets from the people I had initially said I would follow, I just unfollowed them all and now just follow some of the people who have signed up to the MMRR event.

I have finished off writing out all the Instructions and coordinates today for the MMRR event, and tweeted a test of how it will look on the day.

I signed up for the twitter mobile sms/text message alerts ,i got a sms/text message saying it's been activated ,this was last week sometime.
But i did get a sms/text to say you posted on the twitter site yesterday and today...

Am i meant to get a sms/text message when ever you post something on the Twitter site? is that how the mobile alerts meant to work?

Yes and Yes, I think that is right.

Now once you have activated your phone, you can go back to your twitter page on your computer and again find settings
Click on settings
Then click on the tab marked Mobile
Check the boxes next to Text notifications for each type of notification you would like enabled for your device.
Save Changes.

Now you should be able to receive tweets as a text message, which will make it easier for everyone on the day of the event.

Personally I think the easiest way to do this will be to have either two phones or tablets, so that one can be used to receive tweets etc, and the other can be used for navigation, ie google maps etc.

Scott, that's no good. We will miss you two and who's going to take all the good photos? You know where we will be if you change your mind.
Good luck with the move.

Only 20 Days to go.

Hope your cars are ready for it.
Did an oil change on my car over the weekend, first one since 2012
My two front tyres aren't looking too good though.
Everything is all ready to go, I've just got to make up some stickers for the day.
Should have them done this week.

James
I'm sure we could accommodate you if you wanted to fly up and have a day out with us all. There will be room in a car I'm sure.

I've updated the first post with a couple of photos of what we could use for the MMRR stickers this year. Let me know which one you like. Or if you like both of them, then I will just make a selection of both and you can choose on the day.

Thanks

Rotaman
