The FD RX-7 was Motor Trend's Import Car of the Year for 1993. It also made Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list for 1992 through 1995.

Calm down AMG....we're all in violent agreement with you about what a great car the FD is

Personally, I'm shattered the 1970 Morris Cooper S MkII never made COTY -- instead they gave it to...a....Renault

Well I have come out the closet before, some know and I get jibed for it...

I've had 2 Wheels COTY's- my first car and my most recent car...

The 1973 one, although not from new

And of course the RX8!

Cheers,
Hymee.

2 for me...
- the VT commowhore (company car, POS, unlimited company petrol card was the best part of it)
- the 8 (better than the above-mentioned vehicle)

Go Stu
When I saw the results I somehow figured you would be the first to mention it on the forum.
I happened to see the "chrome version" or your MX5 in velocity red and I agree with your choice to remove the chrome. It looked ****.
On another note I still have my 1983 Wheels COTY Mazda 626 Hatch as well as the 8

Hey Gary is there a Mazda that was ever produced that you don't have. You do seem to have quite a collection

That's all "class" Hymee.

You're a brave man sharing this with us. Do you have a pic of the car with you standing next to it?

Agreed - and I thought I was being tough admitting to being a previous Barina owner.
