I agree, up to a point.....reducing unsprung weight will also benefit the performance of the suspension over rough and uneven surfaces, however, Tsukuba (I'm sure..) is a glassy, babys bum smooth circuit and the drop in gyroscopic rigidity as a consequence of a few less kg's/wheel would hardly result in an improved steering response to the point where it would come close to acheiving the same benefit (in terms of reduced lap time)as a drop of 60kg in sprung weight.
She yabbers a fair bit too, you've gotta take that into account....

This will all be highly amusing and interesting to the cop who's booking you for speeding... claiming that your wheels are a kilo lighter than stock and therefore you can get down the road quicker will surely convince him
