MazdaSpeed6
As I said before the Mazda MPS or now called MazdaSpeed6 was to be released for Aussie and NZ around April next year.
Well good news is the final production version was released at the Paris Motor Show over the weekend.
Sadly its been detuned to only 190kW in Euro spec which is probably the same spec we will get.
Anyway enough of the bullshit here are some pics.
I will post a detailed spec sheet as well for you Propellor Heads (Hymee and Taka :P)
Enjoy :D

mmmmmmmmmmmm,very nice..........
Love the interior, wonder if the sat-nav will come to the Aust market. Seats don't look too supportive though.
The exhaust cut outs seem a bit large making the rear end look like the silly front end of the Magna.

Love it. Sound like an everyday drive. Pricey for a family sedan though. It is an odd price to pay for $60K for a Mazda sedan still as it is sitting somewhere between a sport saloon and a family car.
Nice concept for people who want a bit of both. Like me :D

Interesting though, Mazda will now have two cars on the market with very similar prices, performance and people carrying capacity... with two very different purposes... wonder what will happen.

By putting on a bodykit and increasing the performance of the 6, you're calling it riced?
By your definition the BMW M3 is a riced up 3 series coupe?

Then how do you know there are better cars if you have nothing to base your comments on?
I hardly call a pov pack Audi A4 or BMW 3 series (for similar money) a better car.
I'M NOT HATING, JUST EDUCATING. :p :p :p

Yet these cars are aimed at two completely different target audiences and do a roaring trade.
As long as Mazda does a good enough job marketing the 6 and the 8, they should not clash even though they are somewhat "similar", yet, different at the same time.

a friend of mine is already thinking of getting the AWD 6 next year. as long as mazda offers similar standard features say.... a honda accord euro/liberty, and keep the price right, that it would be a saler.
a 4 door family sedan, a turbocharger and a AWD system, you cant go wrong with that :D
