Melbourne RX-8 meet #2 2005: Watchout Melbourne - Gibbo is in town to meet us all
Well I have decided that the RX-8 needs an open road stint so next week I am driving to melbourne for my business trip instead of flying.
I figured a Monday drive (Anzac Day) down to Albury, do my sales calls there first thing Tuesday and then on to Melbourne for the next 7 days before heading back to Sydney on the following Tuesday.
Just thought I would let you guys know incase you are up for a little meet and greet.

What do you think guys? I don't mind the bling and love to meet Gibbo.
It will be a good opportunity to work out what we like to do with RX-8 club Victoria. Draco, will you be free during the week after Anzac day?
I know of a good place suggested by another friend. There is a balcony and in a chilly night in Melbourne we can sit there and watch our parked cars in front of us, with a hot coffee or a cold beer if you like. I think the place is call the Pavillion or something similar.
It is located on Doncaster Road, next to Subaru/Eastern Honda, and very close to Eastern Freeway. I don't mind driving there.
Everyone response if they want to come and we will make it BIG!

If we can make it mid week it would be great, I have a conference starting on the Friday and am fully booked the whole weekend, (Taka if you want to see how real medicine works you can come along, :D Nuclear Medicine)
Anyway I am up for it, Wednesday Night would be best, but I am up for whatever you guys are.

Good to hear your coming down. I'll be doing the same on Monday. I'm taking my zoom zoom up to Wagga on Sunday. Then driving back on Anzac Day afternoon right through to Melbourne. Might see your bling on the road..... Not sure what time I'll be cruising down the hume, but me thinks we'll stand out... (watch out for Mr Copper, its double points weekend isn't it?)

I don't like coffee and hate beer 
but I am happy to sit on a balcony and look at 8's all night :D
I'll have a new 6 stacker to show off. As it's my 3rd one do you think I'll have enough frequent '6 stacker' points for a free mp3 upgrade :D

Midweek works for me any night
Now gibbo if you can pack your old pre bling wheels and cart them down to Melbourne I will be happy to take them off your hands

I will be pushing to fit my bags and a couple of conference things in, so I think the wheels will have tostay in the warehouse :D.

The 'Mez has not spoken yet. He seems to be the busiest with the Virgin staff 
I am ok most nights but I prefer Thursday night or Saturday or Sunday.
CBD is fine draco but where? Doncaster Road is only a 10 min drive the one I suggest is just not far from Eastern Freeway enterance.
Remember I will be driving from Berwick to that place

Doesn't bother me too much where it is, as long as it isn't too far east. As I work in the CBD it would make it easier for me to be in the CBD.

Saturday and Sunday Nights are out for me, I have conference functions on, however at a stretch I could make it on Thursday, I would prefer the Wednesday though.

Now I have been doing a little bling investigation for Gibbo
According to the RX8 manual you can fit a towbar to the RX8 :D
Towballs come in black or CHROME.
How could you resist?????? :D
