My new toy to get me to work

Here is my new toy Taka so enjoyed playing with at my place on the weekend. I have to say a lot of fun Funny thing is I now have a tan

It's the new Limited Edition MX5, and thanks to a nice big fat check a certain body kindly gave me (Still with the crap I went through I think I deserve it) I invested in a set of Eibach Pro Lowering springs and some Lightweight Enkei Rims... I love enkei alloys

Still have plenty left over too for some nice Racing Beat goodies when they hit the market in a couple of months!

And yes... For the more sensible members out there I also put a few zero's off the morgage!

Bye for now... I am going out to work some more on my tan

nice car mate, love the new styling of the 5, went back to the basics of the original 5. MX5's are excellent for tans, tan lines and sunburn.

Enjoy your zoom, zooming

I did get the one with the chrome windscreen surround because I wanted the Bilstein shocks it comes with. I just removed the surrounds as soon as the car was mine

Yea traded the 8 on it and drove home in the MX5. Then sent the paperwork away and got the nice fat check in the mail. I am pretty happy.

I now have a spare full RX8 koni suspension setup and Whiteline Swaybars if anyone is interested. I thought about offering them as a prize at the next Nationals (Bribe my way there hey Timbo ) but if someone is interested we might be able to work something out!

Cheers

Nice Pic Stu,

I love the look of the car. The seat is comfortable. The only downside is I am too bloody tall and the sun will get to my eyes. A good looking Gocci sunny will help

The car response well, although it is lack of power on paper; it does not show when you are driving - even with Stu sitting next to me *cough *cough

The car is lowered when I drove it and the rear is not as tailey as I remembered - although I only have turn a few roundabouts.

I will be a serious track machine Stu . Don't forget to bring your number plate next Tuesday

Nice looking car, Stu'...it starts to bring out my inner midlife crisis but I know I'd be bald in a week!

Be careful not to ask me a question you might not like the answer to

Don't you still love me

I still wear my RX8 cap and shirt while driving & I'll even put the RX8 badge on the back. Think of poor Taka he needs us, Danielle agreed to drive a support vehicle up next time full of track tyres and stuff for the Vic Boys (well OK mainly for Taka and me). Besides just imagine what Taka is going to break next time... Who will keep him company then.

Besides nobody can put on a meet like you Timbo No contest

I have heard there is a guy in Sydney that is already putting a Renesis into his new MX5. My ears are pricked up and I am listening

Even with sunnies you need a baseball cap to prevent too much glare from the sun.

I have sun screen in my mx-5 all the time so that I don't get too burnt.

same here, have always love the mx-5. couldnt fit in one comfortablely, there are basically no leg room for me and the steering wheel always hits my legs......
thats why i got an import SW20 instead. i was very comfortable in it...... and it had boost

how tall are you anyway taka?

essetitals for a convertable/targa top: sun block and hat

ps. always had the thought of ppl chucking stuff in the car while im driving (that was the first thing dad asked me when i picked up the car.... )

I am a 6 foot giant. Hang on - I think I am 6"1' ... what is 184 cm?

Stu,

Looking at the folder that you use for the pics - .... - do they really name you tubs at work???

Do they laugh when they see your number plate, mate? HAHA I am sure I will pick on you if I knew about your nickname at work LOL

Stu took me for a spin on the weekend, heaps of room compared to the old MX5, plenty of poke to zoom zoom with and the colour is the classic / best / only Mazda colour VELOCITY RED
The only downside was that Mrs Xatnep really likes the look of it and wants one too!
Hmmm , I guess I can get away with the 2 cars in the garage and only ONE bottle of touch up paint to buy, therefore spending $45,000 will save me $20.

Why you no love me no more

They would be too scared to call me that at work... I know too many of their own dirty little secrets (X Files fans should get that icon )

The folder is named after the car which at present is nicknamed TUBS. You saw the number plate You know why!!!!!!!

Gomez left me strict instructions to change the plates... I had better get onto that hadn't I

Can you still sell your kids if they've already left home? I was planning on leaving them a huge mortgage in my will, but up front cash to buy a new MX-5 would be good

Timbo, they have more value that way, coz you can hedge for the grandchildren.

I've sold off 3 lines of progeny but need to find a fourth to get the F430

Simple solution... Bring on the Enzo!

Two simple steps...

1. Adopt
2. Sell

Then repeat as many times as needed!
