New add for RX8 on SBS
Finally a decent advert featuring our RX8'S DOING SOME SPIRITED DRIVING ON SBS.
Sales may have slowed up forcing them to finally begin advertising again .
cheers

................ why are you watching SBS?
I am going to see if I can rip it off somewhere. What is the best bet of seeing it tonight? Ch 7, Ch 9?
Or only on weekends?

Why SBS?? because mazda has identified it buying audience as computer teck type geeks , intellectuals and DR , dentist types who buy the RX8 WATCH SBS

Now I know why you never see an RX8 ad during the league.
P.S. Have you ever noticed how the drivers of designer utes are obsessed with their fog lights? What's that about?

Seen it a few times now... either side of Happy Tree Friends and Friends IIRC. Been meaning to try and catch it with the Digital TV tuner card.
No point advertising a car in short supply - now the factory is fixed, time to ramp up the demand.
P.S. if you're into off the wall humour and you don't know what Happy Tree Friends and Friends is... get out your TV guide.

You can see the adverts (in miniature) on the Mazda Australia website. There's also a reasonable video clip there to download

That add has been around for a while on Foxtel. I think on the lifestyle channel or whichever channel airs "Fifth gear".
I like the theory of the intellectuals driving RX8's and hence their advertising targets, but i think a more plausible theory is that Mazda is advertising with SBS because its cheaper than the other FTA channels. Anyway nobody over 15 watches channel 10 (except for when the F1 is on).
PS: Personally i would rather Mazda not advertise the RX8 at all. Anyone that is in the know already has one, is planning on getting one, wants one but can't afford it. The less people that have it the more it will be worth when we sell it.

If they stop selling it they will then stop making it.
If they stop making it... No more rotary.
If they can't sell the RX8 then you can bet they will drop the rotary all together.

Michael, I see that you didn't mention developer in the SBS watching list, and we know that you're not a Dr or dentist or computer geek, I hope that your not implying you are an intellectual !!!!!!!
