TT, A5, A7, R8... they're going crazy with all these new models. How many Audis can the world stand? It's becoming a kind of upmarket, automotive McDonalds.
Seems like the auto industry is going out with a bang - more and more desperate to sell the 'dream' as reality bites....
I'm starting to think the 8 might be my last conventional car! Soon we won't have the water to wash 'em, let alone the petrol to run 'em...

It seems the German marques seem to want to outdo each other in the extent of their model line-ups. I can only guess their respective marketing departments have access to the same, highly segmented market data.

Had a good look at the new TT at the Motorshow today.
Didn't take long to write it off as a potential replacement. Yes, it seems marginally bigger inside than the previous model and yes, my children will fit inside when I have the driver's seat set at the right spot but, unless they plan staying the same height forever, we'll grow out of this car in 5 minutes. As it is, it's a snug fit and they didn't look too comfortable back there. I didn't even attempt to get in the back. Access is also extemely poor. Definitely short trips only whereas the children are happy in the back of the 8 for hours. There's no way adults would fit back there.
Indeed, the more 2+2 coupes I checked out at the Motorshow, the more the RX8 stood out as the only viable option. As a packaging exercise, it remains top of the field.

Oettinger a well respected German Tuning house already have 3 stages of tune for the 2 ltr Tfsi TT 230 HP 280 HP and 310 HP .
Spoke to James Frizelle Dealer principal of Audi Mazda VW Chrysler dealerships here on the coast , disscussed the ups and downs of owning a Mazda RX8 i am sure i enlightened him on some aspects of his dealership he didnt want to hear .
He gave me his personal bussiness card , so if i need to negotiate further i can talk to the horses head and not its tail
