yep very expensive indeed first glace showed $250 at vivid racing (USD) but if i search around prob get them cheaper also 5-7 hp increase is good aswell. But if i cant get them cheaper enough i might go 4 the RB or MSD leads and also check out magnacor.
Thanks

hey me again i was wondering if there is a sensor in the cat in the 03-04 jdm also has any one taken out the cat and how loud or droney (if thats a word) and how much did it cost to remove (and who did you go to) and would it be better to rip out the whole cat or knock out the honey comb instead.

I used to run a straight pipe for a while - sounded awful. Added a resonator to that and it was a lot better . Just removing the honeycomb from the cat does improve the sound - easy to do yourself . There is even a DIY for it on this site .

Hi me again and hopefully for the last time,
I found the DIY for the cat
https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-yourself-forum-73/diy-gutting-out-your-catalytic-converter-108878/
and prob do it in the next free weekend.
Im thinking of getting magnecor KV85 8.5mm for $94usd or the Racing Beat ones for $98 usd. I decided to go against the 10mm magnecor r-100 due to probable install issues with space and even they said its over kill for street cars specially with no mods.
and was wondering if anyone knew the standard size of oem spark leads are they 7 or 8mm?? (Ive searched around but couldn't find it)

Hi There
I use Magnacor R100 ignition cable and there is no issues with space, but I'm using D-585 coils.
The only difference between KV-85 and R-100 cable is the Insulation layer is thicker, so is better for areas that get hot. Won't make any difference for what you want to use it for though.
I use KV-85 on my Rotary Beach buggy.
Hope this is helpful.

If you are interested in having a look at the Rotabug, then go to my profile and have a look at my albums, under there you will find the Rotabug photos.
The D-585 coils are the same as BHR use. Supposedly they are a better more reliable coil. I had to import mine from the US, as these are not a common coil in NZ, but are a common coil in the US.
They are used on a fair few GM vehicles.
These coils are not a straight replacement. You will have to modify things to get them to fit/work.
