New Kid on the Block
Pretty old kid really! Discovered the forum last week after picking up my RX8 (Red, Leather Pack). It's great to have a real car again after wallowing around in a Saab Conv these past four years. The RX8 is outstanding and is without doubt the best vehicle I have driven since my old X1/9.
I'm in Black Rock, Melbourne. The RX8's seem to be breeding fast round here!

Friday must be a lucky day. I'm picking up my Velocity Red RX-8 on Friday as well. Living close to the container terminal at Glebe Island in Sydney, I confess to seeing the ship carrying it unload and it's been a constant source of frustration. Longest two weeks of my life, but the end (or beginning) is finally in sight...

I will be crossing that Anzac bridge tomorrow morning on my way to work and i know my car is down there somewhere. Mine is winning blue. I was tossing up between the red and blue but in the end i went for the blue because i had a red rx7 and i was forever being pulled over i think because of the colour. Something about sports cars and red.

Thanks for the great welcome guys. Mr Gomez, I would definitely not recommend Brighton. I found them a little arrogant and complacent. They obviously think everybody in Bayside is loaded. Werribee on the other hand were excellent. They went out of their way to work out a competitive trade in and from the word go wanted to do a deal.
They even let me drive the car away the same day on trust i.e. without payment of the balance! That's what I call service.
The car is exceeding my expectations which after reading all the reviews were very high.
Quick question - what do you guys recommend for tyre pressures 32 seems low to me, I normally go for about 4 psi over the recommended.
Cheers

I always treat my elders with respect Gomez. Believe it or not Nar Nar Goon were very helpful. They are family owned - no commissions (in theory). Guys name was Clough. As of a couple of weeks ago had a red and a black 6MT in stock.
