Thanks guys for supporting... :o

I got some few question to ask bro, hope y'all able to help me for it..
im lookin forward to modify my car, then what do u think i'll be doing on my 1st step?
i was thinkin of changin my rims to 19".. im still confusing bout the model of the wheel.. im actually lookin for 5 spoke and chrome rims, but im afraid that chrome rims effect a lot for my 8 bcoz of Heavy..
is there any chrome and 5 spoke wheel that is good for performance?(light)
hope somebody can help me go out through this?

thanks y'all !!

Luv the 8 !!

Welcome to the forum, and sounds like you'll have a nice ride.

As to wheels, well, I reckon there's a few choices around. Try 'search'. I like the stockies -- in fact I liked the whole 8 in pretty much showroom trim, although I will admit to perhaps hankering for the small Euro style lip spoiler (Ezzie, there's a market out here)

Krazy,

Welcome to our place!

Mods - well the first would have to be to give it a proper exhaust note. I wonder what you can do about that... Hehehe :D

Cheers,
Hymee.

which state are you in cuz?
chrome rims will always be heavier than silver rims. i havent heard of "light weight" chrome rims, if someone says so, ask him/her how many layers of chrome were applied :D
if you want pimp style, then go with chrome and lowered suspension. but i'd say gunmetal grey or shadow chrome (not chrome, just darker grey paint) looks good against Ti Grey 8.
i like clean 5 spokes and i had them in 19's and now 20's. ideally i'd love to get a sent of advan 2-piece tri-spokes in 20's :p

sway bars is a good start, reduces body roll greatly, as u know the springs on the 8 is really really soft well... cheaper than getting new wheels for a starter mod

Getting new light wheel for 18" is expensive.

Stock wheels is 22 lbs each or just over 10kg. Anything that is less than 10kg in 19" will cost you a fortune.
You are looking at the SSR, gram lights and the Volks for sure there :p
The BBS are generally over 10kg in 19"

Therefore it is pointless to change wheel for performance, looks only. I will race my car in stock wheel with semislick.

Yeah, as Zephyr said, sway bars, then strut bars, then suspension is the go. Tyres, exhaust, intake and others are following.

Welcome Kraize. Go with Chromies. I got the dark chrome on my black 8 and they look outstanding. I agree that a lighter look will be good for the TiG. Don't forget sound. Get a sub in and help out that sad little Bose.

Congrats on the purchase!

I was also thinking of getting a Shinka model, but I wanted red, and I wanted it then and there. And someone once told me I was a patient fellow.....

Cheers,
Azza

there will be 3 grilles for mazdaspeed front bar.
the middle one will have two bumps at the bottom like the S8 RX7.
the two on the side will have fog light brackets for those leather pack owners.
they will be done eventually :D

upgrade the sway bars for better handling and to reduce body roll.
if you get 19" wheels, the car will sit high, so you'd have to change the springs to make it lower.
volk wheels are good quality and they arent cheap. but i guess you get what you paid for :D good choice i'd say. pick tyres that are close to factory diameter.

Welcome, and so there is a grey 'shinka'? Does it have all the same features as the Cherry Black 'Shinka'? other than the colour? (Wheels, beige leather, etc?)

Do we get it in Canada too? anyone who knows?

(BTW watch the 'gay' the PC police will be all over you like white on rice :p)
