Serious? You paid just over $2,000 for the RP03's?

How come?

Yeah but these wouldn't stand up to close scrutiny like in the shows and stuff that Kall does. The scuff marks aren't big but they are there.

More suitable for spare track wheels.

Coz it is special.... normal price is $530 each anyway. Got it for $510 coz it is the show room stock on the enkei stand during Syd Autosalon.

But did you pay any extra for the inclusive stuff I referred to above?

Thanks for the feedback - I might go back and get them to sharpen their pencils.

Thanks Kall and thanks Taka for ringing.

I checked out their website (Enkei's) but of course no price list.

Pricing aftermarket rims seems to be somewhat of a black art (or perhaps as simple as what they think they can get away with ).

Hmm, wonder if I can find someone really dumb with an XR8 or somethin' and sell my "exclusive" OEM wheels to them (sans Mazda caps) for $2,500??

Make sure whoever you go through that the price includes the centre caps. On the Enkei wheels most will try to charge you extra or at worst you will get your wheels without them as most enkei's do not include the centre caps.

Where I took Taka they always just make sure they are thrown in!

Yep, they include the caps in the price (together with valves and nuts).

I agree but this black art of aftermarket car parts gives me the $hits.

Everyone smugly tells you about the deals they get and who they know and you don't know dick and what are you getting that for and blah blah blah.
