I wish SBS would get with da program.

Mind you, it's good to have it at all I guess.

I got a Top Gear DVD as part of the Father's Day haul. Just a collection of segments from the show (some of which I'd seen before) but it was still a good laugh. Does anyone remember the Toyota diesel ute they tried to kill?

Topic, what topic? Everyone who's going doesn't need more info.

Yep I am in, but only for the drive, I'll have to bail after Glaston Gorge. I won't be able to make Mike's place.

Cheers and look forward to seeing you then

Good to hear Gibbo.

Okay, I have fleshed out a few details of the route and the general plan in the first post of this thread, so have a look and get a feel for where we're going. Can't promise anything because some of it is new territory for me too, but it should be a good run.

Obviously, it's not cast in stone and if anybody wants to change some aspect of it, feel free to speak up when we meet tomorrow.

As on the last cruise, we won't be **** about keeping in precise formation because everyone knows where we're going and where the major stops will be. We will keep other stops to a minimum unless someone pipes up on the CB's that they've been held up badly somewhere, taken a wrong turn (or need to attend to something!!).

And if all else fails, we'll get kunz to turn his sat-nav on again.

Look forward to seeing you guys/gals there tomorrow.

Fun cruise today but Sydney's Saturday traffic didn't disappoint and we only had limited opportunities to zoom zoom.

We were down to 5 in the end. A LY, my Ti, a WB and two VR's. All had mods of one sort or another so it was fun to compare notes and ooh and ahh over some of the trickier stuff.

We waited for you at Hornsby Otto, so sorry if we missed you.

From Hornsby we went up Galston Road and onto Old Northern Road to Wiseman's. Couldn't get near the pub parking-wise so we ended up patronising the Bowlo. Turned out to be the better option methinks. Plenty of room to park, cheap beer and a decent bistro.

After that we attempted a loopy return but yours truly got us lost near Pittown. Turned out to be a good excuse to attack some backroads with Gibbo calling oncoming traffic at point.

We parted ways after that and I had a fun blat back home on some roads I'd never been on before.

A few cameras there so hopefully we'll see some photos soon.

Gibbo has plans for a track day so keep an eye out for a thread. We also talked about having a RC car/helicopter/plane/rocket/thermo-nuclear device day (mainly to check out Gibbo's nitro truck and kunz' helicopter, so again, keep an eye out if you wanna join in.

Thanks for coming guys - good to see you all again.

Sorry to hear that Mike - a real tragedy indeed.

Cruise was great as always, thanks for organising it Dave. We had a small group but it was still awesome! Thank you to everyone who turned up. It was great to meet Gibbo and check out his sweet rims + exhaust I had a blast watching you drive with such enthusiasm mate and I'm really looking forward to the track day!

After Dave and Gibbo went their separate ways, Sung Hoon (playa78), Eric (Ironhead) and I swapped cars for a bit to see how different our cars were in terms of performance and handling.

I think we've convinced Eric that the RP shortshifter should be the next mod on his agenda :P so Hymee, feel free to send the commission in the mail to me. (I'll split it with Sung Hoon )

I've taken pics, will upload as soon as I get the chance.
