Here is a sample of strato blue .

This colour is available in the MAZDA 2. MAZDA 3 AND MAZDA 6 SERIES

Doesnt make your $60, 000+MAZDA RX8 very special

Once again the Australian mazda rx8 owners are being shortchanged by mazda japan .WHY NOT HAVE PEARL WHITE ?????

(YOU have good taste in cars except for your colour choice j/k) :D

Not to my knowledge , i dont believe they would use the same colour for the Mazdaspeed rx8 blue in japan as the colour they use for the cheap MAZDA 2 .3 AND 6 series here in AUSTRALIA. :p

cheers

The problem (in my view) with this colour is that it is a mica, and not a metallic. It is the mica in the Velocity Red that turned me off the red. Too lairy and "gelcoaty", like a showy speedboat paint! Okay red owners....flame me, flame me now.....

Looks okay in this pic though.....

Gomez ( to the rescue ) :p

The X MEN NAVY BLUE would have been my choice of colour over the strato blue .

I would have considered trading in my yellow rx8 for a mazdaspeed rx8 with 250kw and in white pearl if it became available .

cheers

Lol thanks for your Compliment Michael

I think there is nothing wrong my colour choice :D

Just that i just can't wait for the order so all just of the floor

My Z is blue and i think it's a Great Colour. The RX8 is red with Red interior, was getting black but the black is with Black leather option which is dissapointed, but anyway

I like both cars :D

Cheers

Imagine Lock & I (or Lock & any of us) in complete agreement:
250kw + pearlescent = perfection.

JACK

You nearly got the Equation correct :D

250KW+ pearlescent + 20year old nymphomaniac with spare RX8 = perfection

Now that would be complete agreement. :p

Strato blue is a touch of purple in it ... it is unlikely is the MazdaSpeed blue you see.

If it is purple then it will be like the purple M&Ms, weird

Here is the picture of strato blue Mazda 2

Interestingly, they dropped the yellow for the new blue in Germany too.....it's just the States so far that have scored the white after having the yellow dropped.

Taka, East Moon reckons that this Strato Blue does have a touch of purple in it. Hopefully it won't have as much as your pic though!

You try to spot a Mazda 2 in this colour - popular among the OLs in the city. There is a touch of purple in it and I doubt it is a colour for men.

Two Blues

So does this mean that there will be two blue - Strato and Winning?
Or is Winning Blue (my choice of colour for my forthcoming purchase) to be replaced also?

Anyone know either way?

Dont worry Mazda in its wisdom will keep both strato blue and winning blue , but not bring in the white , once again we are the victim of to few car sales in the world wide market .
