Nice work guys, did you run your 67's in session 2? Good to see a few RX-8's out there this time. Everyone was pretty impressed by DragToys chirping the tyres grabbing fourth EVERY LAP on the start/finish line. Well, every lap but one anyway :D
Pretty cruel having to watch from the sidelines for once, but there were heaps of great people to chat too.

Yes I must admit it was a great day.
It was good to meet everyone. Next time I will have to park in the same area
Anyway, the video is being cut up at the moment, and I should be able to host some pics tonight. I will send some full size pics for everyone to put on their desktops if they want. THere are some cool driving shots from the drive home, especially rx8 - smooth.
I ran the 66.8 in the second round. which I was pretty happy with, for a first trip to the track.
Yeah the time I missed the chirp scared me a little for a half lap, until I realised I had changed to 6th instead of fourth, in my haste of a flat change.
The car handles unreal, even when sideways, nice and controllable. I am pretty impressed with the stock package.
Stock tyres are not too bad, they grip well but get chewed up pretty quickly.
Anyway, back to canberra as of tomorrow, back to a commodore rental
