Talking Picked Up My Hymee Special.

Drove to brisbane and picked up hymees a/c condenser and oil cooler protector kit .
The kit is of high quality and hymee has put a lot of blood sweat and possibly a few restless nights in getting us his kit .
I believe its great if you want to protect your condenser and your oil cooler , it will save you lots of money in the future

Cost of new condenser $800 and oil cooler AROUND THE SAME .

Hymee has genourosly offered his kit for $80 plus post and handling .

However taking the wife along for the trip cost me lunch , new pair of shoes new hanbag and 2 skirts ,total cost around $900
but hey shes worth it.

Iwill install kit early next week and report further ,however i can tell that hymee has perfected the design so i cannot forsee any problems

All of the forum members who get this kit will be very thankfull to hymee.
thanks
michael .

Have you fitted the new parts to your wife?

I think we all fall for that one...

Lock and Load:

Do the grills look fairly easy to install? Did it come with instructions? Just curious as I'm having one sent to me in the States...:D

Thanks,
Kevin:

The kit contains excellent instructions ,easily followed by a 12 year old ,i believe instructions will come on a cd with photoes of every stage of fitment , my instructions were printed as hymee may not have finalised the cd ,however they are excellent.

hymee also includes types of screwdrivers to be used size of screws ,and further more adds all the necessary screws and washers needed ,all itemised in a plastic shathel.

TOTALLY IDIOT PROOF .

Wow... I didn't know it came with a CD and instructions? Seems like Hymee's got an excellent little business going on. Can't wait to get mine.

Guys -- I'm from the USA and wonder if you have any pictures which you could share with me of Hymee's a/c condenser and oil cooler protector kit . Next question is do you know if he is selling and shipping the kit to RX8 owners outside of Australia?

Thanks for any info you can supply me.

L&L...

Re fitting time. I can take off a front bumper in <15 minutes. But I would allow yourself 30 minutes to get if off. And about 1/2 an hour to remove the bumper Hahaha

The A/C grill would take about 15 - 30 minutes to fit. The oil cooler grill takes 2 minutes to fit if you take your time and go really slow.

Allow yourself 30 minutes to refit the bumper.

Cost of doing it yourself - priceless!

Cheers,
Hymee.

(Sorry it took so long to reply, I went away with my family over the weekend)
