Quickest Aussie RX-8 at the drags???
Hi all.
I don't know if anyone is keeping details/history of this in this public forum (or if anyone cares), but an RX-8 achieved the following offically measured times at Willowbank drag strip recently:
60' = 2.065 seconds
ET = 14.777 seconds
MPH = 92.67 (93.03 achieved on another run)
If you want to see the details, go look in the private members area (racing) on www.rx8club.com.au.
All done without blowing gearboxes or clutches. The Judge has lunched 1st gear at least twice. Oh-dear!
