Really?

Number is not a problem now, since it is around the same. I will wait until most of you have a say and I will put up another thread for it. :o

Koji told me off by using another email address... I guess they identified you with the email address from a positive transection. No wonder he is not returning mail for some people. I think he has 10000 email per day to sort out. Poor man!

Are you allowed to put up a vote to see who is interested? or is that against the "rules"?

I am.

I will see. I am still tossing between a $150 nice filter or a $450 Racing Beat Intake.

Yes I will do a poll starting later tonight and see ... when I become taka again ... Omi just gave me a password but not seem running???

I'm interested in one as I reckon oiled foam works very well as a filter.

ok... I am pretty much sold on your reactions.

I am still waiting a few answers back from Pipercross ... should have gone to revolution racing today rather than mugging around with the Golf GTi.

Lock and Jarl PM.

I have called Revolution Race Gear and confirmed that the filter need to be oiled but water washable.

I forgot to ask how much the oil kit is, but it will be in the vincinity of $30 and the kit last the life time of the filter.

You can pick it up in Revolution Race gear when you are ready to clean. They have some in stock all the times.

I am getting trustrated...

I just got the "RX-8 Fun book" from Japan and in there the R Magic talks about this filter.

It is a dry type filter... so it is NOT require oil. Otherwise it is OIL type.

And it is washable.

Sounds good... but there is more! They claim that it increase power by 5ps!

I tried this filter. Weird, but my G-Timer runs show a slight increase. 3 HP to 5 HP.

Really.... that is good mate

I actually get less kW on dyno with this than the MazdaSpeed filter. I DO feel that filter make the car slightly sluggish. At first they were pretty good. I wonder if I had ruined it by washed it in warm water

Huh? If you bought it brand new, than why did you wash it??? Take it out the box and put it in.

Now, if you need to clean it and have questions than why not ask the R-Magic guys? If you are Japanese or speak and read Japanese than it should be even easier.

I had it for more than 12 months and the package did say clean it with water and air dry it.

Pipercross filter in UK has an oil kit for it. I just found it strange.

It is not a bad filter by the way. The same company sells Richard's short shifter in Japan _
