repaint
My teenage daughter texted me from Newtown (Syd.) thismorning. She was waiting at the bus stop and a yellow 8 was parked across the road and it looked absolutely awesome and fabulous, and could we repaint ours?
This is the same child who told me in August when we ordered that I was too old for yellow, that it was too bright, that it would date rapidly, that it was a bit crude and rude and flash - in other words that it really was a colour suited only for for the Gold Coast (we were already reading L&L's posts.)
How fickle is the female? Suddenly titanium is dead boring.

Speaking of paint colours, has anyone seen the Pearl White colour the Japanese get in their colour range?
Never been a fan of driving a "Kelvinator" (i.e. white good appliance), but the white lends itself well to the lines of the 8.
Looks fantastic!

White is THE colour.
I understand it is pearlescent; I also read somewhere that it should become available for other markets in a year or so.
Many years ago we had a Subie svx in pearl white and it was very attractive indeed.
Now that was an under-rated but very good touring car
