Ric Shaw sway bar question?

I need to get some new bushes I think(clunking noise from back left wheel type area through hard corners) and I need to know how thick my sway bars are. Can't seem to get Ric Shaw on the phone today and was wondering if anyone else has the same sway bars and how thick they are front and back?

Get it diagnosed first Matt before you spend your $$.

I've had a clunking thunking type noise over bigger ruts for a while now but when my suspension guy checked the car over he couldn't find anything wrong with the suspension components at all. I actually think it's just the car hitting it's stops on the firmer suspension because otherwise it is driving fine, etc.

Thanks guys. Any good suspension places you can recommend in Sydney? I can't handle rattles and stuff,it's killing me! I checked the bushes and they seem fine.It isn't on big angle corners more like going straight through a roundabout fast?? I'd take it back to Ric Shaw but he is a nightmare to get a hold of and is always very busy..

Matt, try Dr Shocks at Brookvale. I've found them to be good to deal with - reasonably straightforward and not OTT expensive.

We could also try each other's cars next time we meet up to see if we're experiencing a similar noise...

Both ideas sound good Dave. I'll see Dr. Shocks and see if they can diagnose Dave and then see if you can pick at Kiama..

Ok. If you want to get together before then let me know. We're both northside, so maybe a quick run somewhere this weekend would be possible...
