Ouch... Double the price of what the guys in the US pay. Someone is making some good profit along that distribution line!

Does look like a nice kit though.

Hopefully Hymees Twin Screw Supercharger wont be as costly , it seems that the certainly is a big mark up on the GReddy kit especially as fitting could be Extra $1500-2000

cheers

Besides how about the pics Hymee posted of the test fitment in the engine Bay. Looking very... very... very good Hymee.

Hymee I never thought another man could do it to me but you have me more excited than a virgin on his wedding night :o :o :D

If anyone is interested the Herald Sun has a review on an aftermarket twin screw supercharger kit for the AWD Magna. The link is below

Ouch! Someone is making a lot of money there. The kits are available in the US for under US$3K.

Thanks for the info L&L.

That price makes it another win for the local FI market I'd say.

From Japan Dyno... (I am too lazy to get up and get the Mag)

It is about 50ps gain.

It is about 5-600000 Yen in Japan. So $6000 is about right!!!!! 10000 Yen per PS, it was advertised as.

That is why I can remember it.

500000Yen for 50ps gain. (hopefully at the wheel).

So about $1000 Mark up and if they install cheap then why not.
I will wait until HKS and others have a go first.

Not to hurry as you are not going to install another turbo again aren't you :p
***EDIT:*** Please go for it ASAP and let me know of the long term problem.

$7000 sounds cheaper than what I was expecting.......... I contemplating getting a Greddy turbo kit for my DC5R and was quoted close to $10K plus intercooler plus fitting.

(Luckily I traded it in for the 8 before I took the BIG plunge.)

Greddy own dyno in RX-7 magazine.

Hey I did say 60hp right!!???

I have the RX-7 magazine (Japan) in front of me. An artcle of Greddy's own car with original exhaust (i.e. TRUST exhaust).

202 to 267ps (dynoed)
16.6 to 24.3 kg-m Torque

They said they have to change clutch for it.

Few months ago the same car - Greddy admited to have some cooling problem. They did not mention this time in RX-7 magazine?? hmmm ....

I wonder if Phildox has a water and oil temp meter.

Let me pray :p
