sinkas, as a lapsed motorcyclist, I note with interest in your sig that you have a RE5. With the request for info on rotary cufflinks, you have confirmed that you are a true Rotary tragic . I'm heading that way myself, but I have a little further to travel down that road than you do, my friend!
Good luck in your endeavours.....
Gomez.

I've collected a few models up through Asia, japanese made mostly, but this looks pretty cool!

I know this is getting real lame but they have a few colours, have seen white, blue, red, black and yellow. Could probably save a bundle on shipping if we bought a bunch. I'm happy to investigate if anyone is interested.

I love the cuff link - and I think it is cool. A hint was made to my missus for some Xmas gift ideas, together with GT4 and steering wheel for PlayStation 2, and a very nice chamois.

This is actually a fascinating thread.
In the first place, I don't reckon I'll ever have need for cuff links.
2nd, the miniture RX-8 looks very good, with an astounding, if not exact, level of detail. But really, really impresive if it is really as small as it looks by the photos.
3rd, I have got 2 different designes of rotary engine key-chains. I should do the right thing and post pics.
4th, reading about the RE5 is fascinating. Here is a comprehensive site. But in all of it, I found this drawing to be the most interesting...
I'm glad they got the engine simple, with only a couple of moving parts, but the rest of the drivetrain!!!!
Cheers,
Hymee.

Don't have the Mazda rotary cufflinks but my wife has bought me two sets for birthdays, etc that are a bit of fun.
One set looks like miniature silver brake rotors, sans the caliper. The other set are black 6M shift patterns set in a silver rim, like the insert on top of the gear shift ****.
Both get a lot of comments and it's easy to work out who's a car tragic amongst your clients and associates. :p :D
