Just to entice people a little more, we hope to have at least one and maybe two cars equipped with this set up at the Nats :D :D

I wonder what gear they were in?

I was expecting more of an exponential boost curve.
2 psi at 80km/h in 3rd gear would be 5-6k rpm?
2 psi at 80km/h in 4th gear would be 4-5k rpm?
looks like boost starts high in the rev range. if the run is in 4th gear it would be ok but if it is 3rd you might have some lag on slow corners?

Same. It looks more linear than expected. I can't wait to see how mine turns out.

Cheers,
Hymee.

A little higher than you expected :D ha ha ha no offence but asking $12,900.for a centrifugal supercharger that gives most of its power up high and then using a piggyback system such as TSI interface into the standard ECU that i believe will be no better to tune than the E-manage system on the G-reedy turbo kit which is giving people endless problems with their tuning , no thanks .

you can't judge this system by the greddy's tuning problems.

also the greddy turbo is very small designed for good mid range but it runs out of puff up high. it looks like the boost for the rotarmaster kit comes on quite low in the rev range so you might be complaining to soon.

it looks well engineered and wouldn't have the same wastegate problems like not holding the set boost, spikes etc.

for 200rwKW+, sounds like the sort of money you'd need to spend (in $A )

It does sound good, but when you've got the interceptor X ECU good for 290HP at the wheels

with the Greddy turbo, it sounds even more tempting. If only it was available for down under RX8s.

The ECU is a big issue, but at last there's some developments out of the US which offer promise. I reckon it's always going to have to be a piggyback, due to the ABS/DSC integration in the factory unit
