Sydney RX8 drivers, I spoke to DMRH and I was told this would be the best place to find someone who is after a number plate..for obvious reasons.

Do you want some plates to make your RX8 stand out....??
Are you disgusted with the RTA's decission to make you pay yearly fee's? Luckily some of us saw this coming...

I have 3 sets of plates in storage, never displayed, they were ordered way before the yearly fee's kicked in last year...before the November 23 deadline. I had good intentions for these, this was not a money making idea, I had cars for these plates and one was for the RX8 that I am planning to get eventually.

If you are serious and would like to have some unique plates on your car then hurry and call me direct.
Price will vary(this will have to be discussed due to the way the plates are to be handed over to you), but is worth it cause there won't be yearly fee's... one off payment...keep them foREver..

I still have these plates available, no yearly fee's, and I am selling them as cheap as possible. They are the ultimate plates to have on your RX8.

hey matt,

im not interested in the plates (you've already pm'd me... ), but i have a few issues for you and buyers to think about....

1. the plates you have in storage are Personal Plates right?
2. to have the personal plates in storage, the plates must be in your name and paid for right?
3. if yes to 1 & 2, then have you checked with RTA about thansfer it/them to other persons/vehicles?

i had a similar issue 4 years ago with my personal plates.... i have ordered the custom plates and was going to put the personal plates on my ex-gf's car... went to RTA and was told that the personal plates can only be transferred between family members (ie. same surname), or came with a 2nd hand vehicle purchase. i had no other options, so i paid $15 yearly storage fee and kept in RTA for a couple of years... now it is on my sister's car.

that was 4 years ago, not sure if they have changed the rule.

sorry to bring this up, but i thought you may want to check the rules out

You can transfer anything in VIC... I wonder anyone has MSRX8 yet..... maybe a girl may get it rather someone has MazdaSpeed kit

Thanks for the heads up but I covered every section, basically everything you said is true but what I am doing is not selling you just a plate you will get a free car too!!!!!
A registered car, more than likely and old Mazda 323 that I will buy to place the plates on and once you transfer the car into your name, you can do what ever you want with the plates, IE: place them straight on your RX8 and throw away the 323.... This way you have the rights to display them instead of waiting 12 months.... Great huh! PS: Car is worth a couple hundred bucks...it has to be registered for this to work.
People are selling their plates for thousands and they are not as unique as mine which I am not asking much for.

I have a plate.... "NISMOZ".... and am wondering how much can I sell that for now... am thinking about putting it on my z, but it might be too eye catching.

MSFTO also had her skyline 33 (u guess it, MSR33) outlined in one of the speed magazines. Shes got a 350 n a rx8? ooOouChhH...now there's somebody who couldn't decide...best of both worlds ?
