Good old battle between amused and not_amused still entertains me ![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Ohhhh by the way i saw a SILVER just like mine on Victoria road i was heading towards the city and he was going opposite. Had enough time to give each other the nod of approval.

Phillip

Went for a real drive today, down the Great Ocean rd along the coast line of Victoria then back home through the otway ranges. The 8 drove like a dream! Must have been a good day for it as I saw three other 8's, two heading the opposite direction (one Ti and one black) and a red one was parked in the main st of lorne.

Spotted a red RX8 in Brissy today - luckily enough as I was meeting Hymee for lunch - great to meet at last! Plus I saw a silver on the way in from the airport last night. Hooking up with a few other Queensland owners tonight, should be fun! :D
Cheers

Thanks Hymee, I'll see if I can swing by there.
Great to meet you all the other night. RX8 owners are the best people the world over.
Loved Brisbane, wish I could have spent more time there. Wish even more I had the phone number of the gorgeous Lucy from the Queensland parliment, but shed gone by the time the slanging match in the chamber ended
Anyway now driving down
the Gold coast in an astra - I'm not happy with who hired this real POS for a 1000Km drive
Cheers

Spotted
Titanium heading south of SE freeway at around 7:30am - purple on white plates IIRC
Red (I think - it was dark) following me up Wharf St in Brisbane City just after 6pm
No one here by any chance?

Greetings All,
Saw a Winning Blue at 12:30pm today at the intersection of Wyndham and Henderson Sts in Alexandria - heading north through the lights.
Rego was premium plates PAP-101 I think.

Black one Burwood Rd, Hawthorn today.....SRA ***....gave a wave but was past him before he had time to reply....Damn black, too stealthy to pick out early when coming toward you. Blame that, or the overcast Melb weather!

I'm only in Sydney for two days this time, and after a day I'd not seen a single one (saw both the hideous forms of a 350Z and Crossfire though), and was beginning to dispair. But then at around 4:30pm I saw a titanium grey going north over the harbour bridge. I waved, but they probably weren't looking straight up at the centre of the arch above the roadway - I was doing the bridge climb at the time! What a great place to spot one. :D
Off to Bangkok for a couple of days tomorrow afternoon on the way back home, so if I don’t get chance to say it later - had a fanastic time in Australia, enjoyed spotting the RX8s and meeting a few of the owners. Hope to be back down under again before too long.
Cheers

Greetings All and especially Pappy
Well the reason you didn't spot our (also) winning blue 8 was that I was waiting to cross at the traffic lights (on foot) with a work friend that day - I was the taller guy with dark hair and beard - we both looked as you went through the lights. I was thinking 'so that's what our car looks like on the road' although we have blue plates.
I work just around the corner ! I have seen several RX-8s in that exact place lately (silver, black and grey) - do you all get out for lunch for a drive or something ? Still haven't seen a Nordic Green on the road though.
Regards

Approx 10.00 am this on the Motorway heading north into Brisbane after Mt Gravatt.
Nice and clean Black RX-8 with plates "AP007"
Would have waved but they gunned right on by and hey no-one even pays attention to a Bright Yellow SP20 anymore.

Two more this afternoon both on Kingsford Smith Drive on my way to and back from the Airport.
Black with number plate "JON 711" (not sure of the numerals)
Winning Blue with normal QLD plates - may have turned in to Eagers Mazda.

So I'm sitting here on my back deck on Sunday having a nice cup of tea and surfing the forum (don't you just love wireless). The nearby primary school is having a fete... and straight past my house comes a couple of RX-8's
Titanium - KIM-***
Red - didn't see the plates.
Might have to do a walk around the block and see where they parked.

Spotted Forum Member SKC
Followed a Black with Plates - SKC-08 - up Jubilee Terrace in Ashgrove heading towards Bardon at approx 8.40 am this morning whilst on the school run.
Presume this is SKC from the forums. Car certainly matches his description.
Had a non-standard exhaust - thought it could just be finishers at first but did sound louder/deeper than standard (bear in mind I don't own my yet so have to go on memory) -
JUST DID SOME RESEARCH - my first visual and aural experience of the genuine Hymee Enhanced Exhaust!
Had Wing
Rear rotary motif
RX-8 3rd rear Brake Light
My daughter said she likes Black - but I told you have to keep it as clean as the one we were looking at.
SKC, if you even noticed, mine was the Yellow SP20 in desperate need of a wash, that darted down your left flank where Jubilee goes to 2 lanes temporarily before Arthur Terrace (and yes I was turning left not some sad attempt to beat an RX-8).
Anyway bloody nice RX-8 SKC.

Spotted a black one this morning along Goldcoast highway , the driver seemed to deliberately try and hide wearing his red baseball cap .
Got in front of him to show him the exhaust and the rear brake light , no response , he kept on playing with his hat , and tryng to hide , weird .
Cheers
