Scraped the cat .
Having spent the morning engaging in some spirited driving i decided to take a short cut and use a laneway , lo and behold i F#$ing scrape my catalyctic converter .
:
For the guys that want to lower your cars further beware not much room down there the cat seems to hang way to low , and that stupid sensor wire could get easily caught.
I did manage to win the wager , and the cat does not seem to be any worse for wear .
cheers
michael

I have scrape many times and even have some log to lift up the front wheel in my garage so I can go it without scraping my cat.
The undercar brace, nice racing cat or lowering the car is in my dream but not practical...
It hurts when you scrape the cat does n't it Michael... my mechanic said it happens and still look ok...

Taka
From memory i remember seeing in one of canzoomers treads that he has replaced the original cat with a smaller higher aftermarket cat , i cant seem to find it right now .
The noise of the cat scraping is worse than the actual damage caused , it leaves a sinking feeling in the stomach.
cheers

I scraped my cat on a dead dog!!! Driving down highway at night didnt see dead dog in middle of road until too late. Tried to 'straddle' it. Made a real mess, chunks of flesh and fur stuck to the cat. Awful smell as a result. Blood everywhere under the car, had to get it detailed to clean it up. Hit the cat but cleared the Hymee! phew!

What was the old joke... God saw a naked chick swimming in the ocean and muttered to himself "damn, going to take a million years to get that smell out"....
