Struth! I'd be careful asking an Alpha Male that sort of question

Yes...I'm a little concerned about that question. Brothering sounds a lot like spooning to me.

Taka, there will be no brothering. You can however drop by and we'll check what you have in there. I can loan you my spare short shifter if you need it.

Ok, I panicked and changed mine to the white Kevlar cup. Here's a pic of the original, still in pristine condition. From memory, it's done 3 track days and c.12,000k. I know I usually wear a cardigan but I'm not sure what type of driving causes the problem. Maybe city stop-start, as I don't do much of that

That is a bit worn, Tim. See the groove just before the radius? That is where they wear.

i guess doing more city stop-start driving would be a factor as that means you are changing gears that much more often...

i guess, that's how its supposed to look normally..
do you have a picture of the replaced plastic bit?

Good point, 'mez...didn't notice that at first but you are right.

Sorry playa, I did it in a bit of hurry...and didn't take a photo . It's the same shape as my pic (with less wear ) and an off-white/beige/cream/ivory sort of Richie Benaud jacket colour
