Not really but it does give you a added bonus at times when you offer a woman ya like a ride and she's half expecting you to be driving a beater of all beaters hehe.. still remember the first time this girl I liked found out I drove the Rx-8 she just said "Oh my god.. when can I drive it." I just replied with "When I have a ring on this finger!" hehe.. she just grumbled a bit but it got her curiousity I suppose.
And MissyK guys flock to you 'cause your riding dirty hehe.

Female friends of mine love the car and think it's cool, etc but I've always thought guys tend to overrate the whole chick magnet car thing, especially if the woman is over 21.

Well, since I'm female, let me enlighten you guys with some info...
I was involved in an all girl car club for some time. so I did get to "hang out" with girls who claim (notice the word claim) they are into cars. Most dunno squat about cars and dont really give a hoot, they drive little boxes and main thing they want out of it is to 'pick up' or be known as a 'car chick' so they can get guys attention.
Girls aged 16-22-23 or so... dont even know what an RX8 is.......some do.. most dont, as most younger females go for the little 'economic' cars that they put on a spoiler or rims and call it a 'sports car'
You are prob more prone to attracting older women lol as the younger ones are still teenybopperish and love their skylines and wrxs... u know.. the doof doof type of cars Only way they would really know what you drive is if you stick them in your car lol but other then that I skylines and all that are still more known for that.... as they are such a common car and even a chick with no car knowledge will know what a skyline is and oh wow its so big and so wowwwww powerfulll like ya know like they are like so perrrrrrrrrrrrty *rollseyes*
but when a guy sees a chick driving a rotary.......... help help. im sick to death of having to change lanes, and drive down different roads to avoid the *****!!!!!

As far as I can say...I get acknowledgment from some guys on the road that know what I drive and see how I drive it. I have to say that my friends say the car suits me...I have had a few little drags with some guys and laughed at one in a F250 ford. We started off from the lights he got to 4th I was still in 2nd and backed off at 60. We stopped at the next set of lights and his friend said they would take me on again. I said "why I was still in 2nd doing 60 and still had 4 more gears to go!" "How does it feel to be beaten by a woman driving a rotor? " They went quiet and drove off!
Mine doesn't pull chicks but it does get the RESPECT!!!!

The only true answer is.....
The RX-8's are not normally chick magnets....only a select few....and I happen to be selling one of those select few

Hey this was meant to be a light hearted, funny thread, demonstrating my humour, but obviously it invokes passionate responses.
And for the record, no. A car isn't my only move. The other move is what i like to call the electric boogaloo. Thats right ladies. Check this stud out on the dance floor.
:p
