Spoke to steven from mazda head office on freecall 1800 034 411 cars have been delayed due to massive back orders from japan approximately 5000 japanese pre orders,and the orders from united states, he stated that cars would be in australia from the 1st of august and passed on to dealer networks for distribution,so we should have cars by 1st and 2nd week of august depending on where you live.Iexpressed concern that even though i preordered i was only given theoption of leather pack or cloth interior ,some of us who preffered 2 tone leather on yellow blue and nordic green,could only get all black leather interior ,i statedthat i felt that the interiors would be very dark speacially with window tinting and be claustraphobic .Obiously other people prefer an all black leather interior in some of the other coloured cars and not the red/black interiors .He said that he believed that mazda were going to rectify the interior colour situation but this wont be rectified in the 1st shipments of cars . SO IF you want red with only blackleather you will be able to get it but your car will notbe one of the early ones. I ORDERED LIGHTNING YELLOW 6SPEED LEATHER PACK but i want the 2 toneleather pack where does that leave me and otherswho ordered?????????
