When collecting my car today :D the dealer confirmed the Special Edition - $3000 premium on top of Leather Pack for sunroof, two-tone seats, polished wheels and some extra bling-bling. he though there would be a choice of two colours - the Cherry Black and a Metallic Grey.

Holden releases a limited edition Monaro every 12 months badged as a CV8R.
It comes equipped with pretty much the same extras (roof, polished alloys, unique interior trim and colour, etc) and they only demand $1000 over the normal model, not $3K.
Definitely a money making scheme from Mazda IMO.

Maybe Hymee will finally upgrade his pov pack for one of the rare special edition collectible ones in mica red 
...............................with the chrome pack , the hymee exhaust and grill could be plated in Gold ...........LOL :D
