Hey anyone dont know if this is the right forum but its pertaining to Aus cars
I got my starter button kit from Japan parts , Yippee:D

Spent hours trying to translate the instrutions , Installed as per the guide got it all back toget ther and...............

it doesnt work anyone know if its usable in Aus I treid to get the info from Japan parts but they said follow instructions?

I got no Led light around button , I checked and I got 3 volts at the sucker but nadda ?

Anyone know what the module thingy does ??


any ideas people

 

8A8Y 8 Has his connected and working, but the LED is not functioning IIRC.

I got it thanks to some help from Awillsea

Oz has a different loom

I wondered why they give you a splicer but its not mentioned in the instructions

Instead of pin 24 for the ground wire in the cluster you need to piggy back pin 11 the white blue diagonaly opposite

It works LEDs and all But Its still not the right earth because when I put the cluster illimination back to normal with the tumbler switch that wire is dead and the starter doesnt work

But I like the blue lights anyway at night so its fine for me

If anyone knows another earth in that plug let me now
