Sydney buses that can change red light to green?

I normally hate driving behind buses but i think i'll start making some exceptions.![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I was watching TV and there is a show called Bullrun on VH1 similar to the Gumball 3000 and one of the contests has this device that can turn the lights from red to green!
And my roomate in the US used to have this radar detector that worked wonders stuck underneath the dash of his Pontiac Transam.
All these cool devices...now all we need is for someone to do a Surface-To-Fixed Speed Camera missile launcher.
Oh god... the power to change traffic lights.

lol @ Police Officers! I can never mention anything I've done illegal around some friend of mine because she has a knack for telling her daddy, a Copper too.
Anyway this is great for Commuters taking the Bus during Peak Hour. Just drive real closely behind a bus and you got yourself a ticket through traffic![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Even when the police goes (Buzzes) through traffic, I notice myself haha, and other drivers pull over to the side and when they drive by we get into the right lane behind the car and we've got ourselves a free ticket through traffic too![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Is it illegal though to follow a Police car if its sirens are on going through trafic?

Down here around my area (only time ive seen this), the buses have their own lanes in the far left. Course its called "bus lane" where the bus goes and they get the green light way before the rest of the traffic. No other cars can go through with the buses however.

Yea they have bus lanes in certain parts of Sydney too. They've been putting them around the Northern Beaches where I live (Finally)! But Bus lanes have been a bit ineffective because it cuts off at different parts/sections of major roads and buses can never get a Real Smooth Ride through traffic. I rekon this plan will go well as long as they connect all the cut Bus lanes with each other.
