Sydney Cruise Sunday June 19th

I should be there.
I have 2 Canadian friends visiting this weekend so I may bring them along to show em what Aussue car enthusiasts do.
Only thing I don't like is that it is double demerit points this weekend...not that anyone will be speeding of course.

The run is planned for 19th June, not this weekend.

Hi guys,
Next weekend is not double demerits but we still need to be "careful" on the old road on a Sunday ... ask any cycle rider of the motor kind fast going is targeted often :O
I drive this lovely road every weekday to/from work and not many cars of any sort to be seen and much fun to be had :D
But on most Sundays the bikes are many and da boys in blue are mostly around ... still a pleasant "scenic" drive at a quiet pace :P
I hope to be able to drive down to meet at Waitara and drive back as part of the cruise to Terrigal.
BTW: have you ever tried to park in Terrigal on any Sunday ...?
Suggestion, when we get to Kariong turn on to the Woy Woy Road to go the backway over the Rip Bridge and Empire Bay Drive through Avoca to Terrigal much better drive and no traffic lights! Ther return through Gosford back to Sydney, that way we go all the way around Brisbane Water. Hope that its a sunny day!
Cheers,
Tonym.

I know the parking is ordinary at Terrigal, however that is why we were trying to get there a little before lunch, so that we might miss some of the crowds.
By the by, the alternate route sounds great, just for an indication of numbers I was wondering if you guys could PM me if you can make it, don't PM me if you can't, and where you are going to join. I will try to make a booking at terrigal if we have enough numbers.
Cheers,
Gibbo.

Come on fellas, we have 7 cars so far, I would like more 10 would be great. Pull your fingers out and get there, I have attached maps for those people that are coming.
We may even have some RX-8 merchandise to give away on the day (subject to confirmation) so make sure you are there.
Cheers

Im in (Kanen8) 100%, and also Chris (Blue RX8) I beleive. TonyM called me yesterday. We will meet you guys are Waitara (coming down from Terrgial) Ill back TonyM's idea on the WoyWoy route, its a nice cuise down. Also, a good parking tip. if it gets hectic on Sunday morning we could all park over at the Skillion car park (the land spit that sticks out to the right of Terrigal) there is heaps of parking in there, and we can then walk the 200 metres to the Crown for food.

I'll second Kanen8's call on parking, as Terrigal is definitely a pig for parking on a good Sunday!
And, yes DAZ1300, the replacement new 8 is Winning Blue and all sorted and already 20K on the clock :D Although a bandage on the nose - damn those dang wallabys in the dark on the Old Pacific Hwy!! :O
See ya all,
Tonym.
