Thought I'd trawl back through the thread to confirm times, places, routes, etc.

By my reckoning the following have indicated they will be coming:

1. Gibbo
2. Revolver
3. 8A8Y8
4. dbrx8
5. daz1300 (part)
6. playa78
7. marky77
8. fu1982
9. RXP33D
10. geisha8
11. Muzz
12. tonym
13. LittleJohn
14. Daz-13B (part)
15. Kanen8
16. Chris (blue 8)

Azzaboynt was an early scratching but give or take a few who may not get there we should still have comfortably more than 10 cars. Don't know if Gibbo has received PMs from that many but it is looking promising.

Would be great to get a shot of them all lined up at Killcare where you can see down to Lion Island and Barrenjoey in the background.

Let's hope that rain stays away!!

Gasp! I think Brisbane just got whopped on the car count..

Looks like the weather is favouring Sydney... Same temperature, but easier weather..

Have a great day guys (used in the most non-sexist way!)..

I have another mate with a black RX-8 coming...so far the official count is 15 cars, but I do not have cofirmations from everyone on revolvers list. If they all turn up then will have in excess of 20 cars.

Daz13B is right he has a great suprise for us tomorrow if you can make, it will be well worth the trip to see. Also we will have some great give aways thanks to Daz13B and Central Coast Mazda.

Look forward to seeing you all there.
Cheers,

Gibbo. (Jeff)

Oh man, I can just see 15+ guys/gals out there busily washing, polishing and waxing. I'ts not gonna rain or hail - it's gonna snow!!! :p :D :D

Since I'm driving from the northern beaches to Dural at sparrow's fart I'm afraid any cleaning I do will be a waste of time so I'm tempted not to bother.

Actually, some excess dirt might be a good idea!! :D

Just kidding - don't want to let the titanium crowd down.

So DAZ-13B we're going to get them all to line up outside Central Coast Mazda on the way back for picys - right

So theres got to be some teeshirts or some such goodies in it for the guys, the pictues going to be worth a thousand words - yay :D

So is Taka going to delay his trip back south and make a show at Waitara we wonder, I hope Mrs Taka can be understanding, on second thoughts that has to go without saying as we know our Taka only too well!

Talking Thanks for a great day!

Thanks to Gibbo, darrin and all the others for organising a great day!

18 RX8s did look great!

Cold to start with but after the drive to Terrigal the Sun finally came out at last.

Darrin was late but what he brought along made up for it - some lucky door prizes and .... the red Rotary Master Turbo RX8 :D

And later some of us got to drive this great thing .... OH ..... MY ...... GOD!!!!!
Does it go and what! All it is missing is the great noise of the Hymee Exhaust and the precise shift of the RP Short Throw Shifter and then it is fulfilling what this car eally can be!

Anyway, here are some pics from Terrigal. I'm sure that there are many others to be posted.

Cheers,

Tonym

Thumbs up And now for the Surprise!

Here are some pics of the Turbo RX8 at Terrigal and in front of the Gosford Mazda dealer, along with some of the others on the cruise - thanks again Darrin, especially for the drive!

Well we had a fantastic day. We had 7 cars for the early start at Mc Donalds at Dural and the another 9 cars at Waitara and then the extra two at Terrigal itself.

Everything was very friendly and it was great to finally put some faces to names. I have attached some more pictures and will also look at putting up the little bit of video where the police came along and insisted we move our cars along.

Thanks to all those that attended and to Darren from Central Coast Mazda for the give aways and also Joe from Rotor Master for lending him the car to bring.

I hope we can do it all again, I was thinking a putty road cruise to the Hunter valley for lunch next time.

Cheers

Gibbo. (Jeff)

Wow, what a great day!! :D

Only some short periods of uncrowded driving (how bad was that Charade!! ) but long periods of meet, greet and putting faces to names. Good stuff.

Huge thankyous to Gibbo for his overall organisation and point duties, closely followed by Kanen8's local Central Coast knowledge - the spot to park was a ripper.

I also appreciate the generous involvement of Daz and Joe (particularly since I bagged one of the lucky door prizes!!! :D ).

Sorry I couldn't stay when you all went to the dealership - as it was had to haul *** to make it back in time!! Even sorrier that I missed out on a drive or ride in the turbo beast.

That 10-15 minute period when 15+ 8s had the bends of Old Pacific Hwy to ourselves will live in the memory for a while!

Driving home felt quite lonely - I got used to being surrounded. That picture of a line of 8s in the rear vision mirror sums it all up nicely - a show of force!!!

Ta, Kalli

Well Kalli, this is one time when size does matter :o

The uploads are limited to 100KB and my full size 3MB pics would no go

If someone has a Web site and space to share we could FTP them up in full size, but you would really need broadband to view them all them

Cheers,

Tony.

Nice, so you got a drive in the RotorMaster RX8? I couldn't stick around long enough. How was it?
Thanks again to Gibbo for organising a great day.
