To be honset with you I would want top dollar for it... if I was to put it on Carsales today I would probably advertise for around 32K and accept no less than 30K. I am in no hurry to sell and it is a VERY reluctant sale. I still haven't made up my mind which way I want to go. For what it's worth, the car is stock aside from a K&N panel filter and Endless brake pads.

I understand you wanting to wait for a desperate owner, and I am sure with the economy the way it is at the moment you will be bound to find someone who has come into financial trouble and/or over-extended themselves with finance. Good luck with it all, but it is always important to be extra wary of low-priced cars.

My car revs smoothly all the way through the rev range, I am not sure why the revs would go 'up and down' although if you were trying to stretch its legs while it was cold it wouldn't run too great. It's a big no-no to rev these things (or any car for that matter) out while they are cold - rotaries particularily require better care and should be warmed up before driving and depending on how you have been driving, cooled down before shutting down.

AFAIK the radiator doesn't get affected by stone chips but the oil cooler can (someone else may be able to clarify??). Mine is fine, but I know a lot of people add a mesh cover over their oil cooler to protect it.

That's totally fine, you have a beautiful car. One that still turns heads when driving around, you obviously keep it in top condition and really know what you are doing, like I said, you would be the best person to buy the car off because I would KNOW the car has been properly maintained. And you should know if you should sell it too me, I would care for her! Im sorry to sound so picky and stupid about all this, but this has been a dream car of mine for at least 4 years now and I don’t want to rush. I have been looking, researching and talking for years about my own RX8!!!!!!!!!

30k isnt too bad anyway mate!!!! I was looking around the 25-7k mark anyway….(im not silly, I don’t think ill find something for under 20k that will last me for a while and doesn’t need a new engine) , which won't be all that hard when the bottom of the price range stars around the 22k mark, but thanks for the luck. I think i may need it!

I had been driving it for about 10-15 min before I started to stretch its legs, so it was warm, maybe it wasn't warm enough…Next time ill try to give it a little longer

If your still interested in selling your car in 6 months (as i will have a bit more financial lubrication as that time) we can talk then!
