A touch of Dorian Gray ???

I've felt a little ill since last week, weak ... sore throat ... generally run down.

So why you ask?

Well, I've suddenly started feeling better in the last hour. Is it a coincidence that I just went and picked up my 8 after some very minor bodywork? Looking back, it was the middle of last week when I dropped the 8 off and picked up a rental - the same day my throat started to get scratchy.

Whether it's a touch of the Dorian Gray's or a bit of the old grandfather's clock syndrome I'm not sure - but it's a bit spooky.

Maybe it's just separation anxiety. But I'm starting to worry that if my 8's headlight gets broken I could go blind in one eye.

Tell me doctor ... what am I to do?

What's worse (and I've only just realised this), every time the 8 looks sparkling clean, I go out and buy myself new clothes. Truly!

This is natural... I'm sure it was in the brochure somewhere.

Actually, it's a well known issue, Mazda cover it on page 85 of the drivers manual issued with the RX8 * grin *

Do what I do, even when I was at the peak of "holy f*ck I'm going to die.." with a flu/cold/virus combo two weeks ago, make the effort to go for that 11:30pm driver around the block and hug the car - makes a whole world of difference!

Who said the power of positive thinking didn't work!

++Dez;

ps: yes, it's 1:56am and wife and child are asleep and before I do like wise I'm about to go see if the tide is out at Manley beach ( I'm in Mosman * grin * ).

Damn, I'd nip down and peek with you, but I've parked myself in tonight and I'd wake the entire household if I start car shifting + plus the couple of rasberries juices I've had...
